I am a Christian, former atheist. I don't care about much in the Catholic practice when it's point was to commemorate God anyway. I got kind of carried away when Bible verses were put here, makes me wonder why people stay away from the Bible. The way to a person's heart is their mind and they must first sacrifice something in order to make a new subject. In short, just relevance and importance

I think the Jedi are based off of both Samurai and Templars, and various other monks and orders through out history, the ultimate combination if you will. One of many things based off of Templars is their commitment to celibacy, while the Samurai did not. Some Samurai even had wives.

@@lunarketchup8829 Bushido is loyalty to the emperor,shogun,and daimyo the Jedi knights do not fully have loyalty to the senators,mayors or land owners on Coruscant the Templar Knights were established to protect people not just the kings they were even persecuted by the king of France and deleted.Knights died off in general after the 1400’s because countries would rather pay mercenaries and guns became more of a thing

In reality though they probably did not face each other, atleast not as intensely as in AC as the Assassins were mainly a Persian order that was basically as in the name an Assasination cult while the Templars are mostly in the Holy Land, Europe and Syria. While they may know each other and they are not rivals.

@Drake you can join under the Scottish Rites. All you have to do ask to be a Mason. Once you're in, you'll see how to be a knights templar. But to be honest, it's more of a status and you must be a Christian. You can be a muslim in the Masons or even Jewish but some lodges may not let you be a knights templar

My heart resonates with Love for the Templar Order - just something about the entire set up, ethos and Martial Way to Enlightenment that they had so obviously established. They were True monks, hence their superb martial skill - the armoured, mounted Shaolin monk equivalents of their day.
