In Rev 7, they are not the twelve tribes of Israel. Some of them are of the 12 tribes, but a few of them were not tribes at all (ie. Joseph and Levi). Therefore, an explanation is needed. However, l do not agree with this video in the slightest.

True. They are Israeli. The term Jew usually refers to Judaism. Some of these 144,000 may or may not practice Judaism, but the key to these is that they come from the 12 blood lines. Most of them probably don’t even know that they belong to one of these blood lines, but Jesus knows. I believe these 144,000 are to repopulate the promised land under the millennium reign of Christ. This will fulfill Hosea 6:2, which has yet to be fulfilled.

Thank you because I was confused about who they were. I did have one question though: If when we die we go to paradise to be with Jesus because He prepared that place for us. Then where are the people who died previously and today (in the graves )? Who go up before the living saints to meet Jesus in the air during the rapture? Jesus resurrected others who were in the grave with Him and took them to Paradise. So when we die are we just in the grave asleep waiting for the rapture to occur?

The Bible says Israelites, not Jews.

Are they of what is considered the Jewish people today, or are they descendants of the twelve tribes who may be of a different faith now? Is it possible that many of the twelve tribes could be people of different races? Could some be white, black, brown, or oriental in race? Just my own thoughts, but I believe that the 144,000 witnesses will be chosen from many racial and ethnic groups of people.

Romans 2 Paul says that those who are in Christ , the saved, born again , circumcised of the heart are Jews inwardly.

Says they are the first fruits. So 24 elders of which Enoc, Moses, Elias and mother Mary are part plus 144,000 who were not corrupted by deceptive teachings during the early church. Looks like our hope is the multitude that can't be numbered being so huge.

Wrong Jesus will call his bride before judgement. Any decent Groom would. Do you really think that Jesus would allow an imposter to have his way with His bride? The word rapture is not mentioned in the Bible, but the teaching is impossible to miss! The 144,000 are the children of Israel that were slain by Herod in Mathew 2. Jeremiah 31 declares it. Ezekiel 37 prophecies it. Revelation 7 and 14 confirms that is who they are.

@@Sechott12 Ok I think they are being technical, it is not a ''pre-trib'' rapture per say, rather a mid-trib, just before the 3 and a half years of terror. I'd always gathered that the 144,000 were those that were raptured, those who made themselves ready, but I am open to other interpretations, will have to look into what you presented.

Ask God to send his ministering, and protecting Divine Angelic Assistance to learn the truth and have you and your loved ones protected They may show up in different forms but God answers and prayers help cover our loved ones

Question: Since Ruth was a gentile women, even though she followed the Jews in faith, she is not a Jew biologically. Ruth was King David's great-grandmother. She was married to a Jewish husband, but she is a gentile women. How does Ruth being a gentile affect the line of King David? And since she was a gentile married to a Jew and had the line of King David. Could one of the tribes, line of David, be affected by her gentile blood line and if so how? As a futurist to have the correct view, you have made many assumptions and added to biblical narrative on the 144,000 that is not found in scripture. Where can I find that it says the 144,000 will evangelize on the post tribulation world? Please show me how you concluded that the seal was a special protection against the wrath of the anti-Christ? Correct. They are not evangelists. This has been the worst assumption of this passage of scripture. Personally, I believe they are the ones that will repopulate the promised land during the millennium reign of Christ. This will fulfill Hosea 6:2 where it says that the Israelis will “live in His sight”. This verse tells us that physical Israelis will live under the physical rule of Jesus. This can only happen after the tribulation period because it hasn’t happened yet. These Israelis will not be born again(but I’m sure many will end up believing is Jesus). They will still be in bodies that are effected by the fall of Adam. They will marry, have children, die, but most will live 100’s of years. Many will not accept Jesus as Savior, and this is why we see a great rebellion against Jesus at the end of the millennium when satan is released for a short while. There will also be other nations repopulating the earth at this time.

The seventh day Adventist believes that they are the ones that will be sealed. They say that the Sabbath is the seal of God spoken in revelation chapter 7.

May I ask does it really matter? 144,000 are 12,000 of every 12 tribes? Why does man ask and make videos on these topics when it is the Blood of Yeshua/ Jesus. Isn't it as simple as accepting repenting and following him and his ways that we gain eternal life?

144K refers to 12,000 repented Israelites from each of the 12 Tribes of the Nation of the 12 Tribes of Israel. They are who will put the remnant of the other nations under subjection after Christ and his army obliterate every army of earth. They will be the governing body under Christ in the Kingdom come to earth. The order in the Kingdom is GOD , Christ, 144K, the 1/3 remnant left of the ISRAELITES, and then the meager remnant left of all nations who will be servants and handmaids.

The verse nowhere says they "remained" virgins, but they did because they were slaughtered by Herod at 2 years old. They were resurrected with Yeshua and taken to the Father. They are Rachel's Children, 12k of each tribe. Satan has blinded the minds of all "Christians" to this simple fact of scripture. The verse refers to their teenage virgin mothers who were not with a man, just as Mary was not. Tradition has deceived and made the Word ineffective.

The 144 thousand serve The Lord they "serve the lord," directly serve no shenanigans about church services no serving God delusions they serve the lord in whatever capacity they can the same way God serves people. Please allow me to point out a commom mistake. The term Jew refers to the tribe of Judah which is part of Israel. At tge height of Israel; there were 13 tribes bc Joseph became so big it split into Ephraim and Mannaseh. Solomon was King at the height of the Israel nation. After he died, the nation split. Rehoboam ruled the southern part centered on the temple. They were mainly comprised of Judah, Benjamin and Levi. The other ten tribes in the north became Samaria ruled by Jeroboam. He set up a new religion so they would not return to the Temple and Judah. The Messiah was to be the son of David who was a Judaite which changed to Jew by the time He was born. Tho the core are from Judah and Levi: the other tribes are scattered throughout with those who still worshipped at the Temple. The 144,000 are Israeli. Only 1/12th is Jewish. It is misleading to label the 144,000 as Jewish. Keep that in mind when looking into claims about them.

Only a few are worthy of salvation. Of course, each person interacting in this commentary, or in general, believes 'they' will experience this. But not others. aCk!!

Jn 3:16, for whosoever, this means anyone who turns from sin and accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior. It is not just to believe because even the demons believe James 2:19. There's a difference here when it comes to "believe."

Elsewhere in the bible the tribes of Israel are listed in birth order. But this list is not in birth order. Manasseh is not a son of Israel. He was born to Joseph. Joseph is in the list, so why then would Manasseh be in this list. Also, Manasseh's mother was Asenath, an aristocratic Egyptian woman. It was forbidden for Jews to marry anyone that was not a Jew. Dan was the 5th son of Israel but he is not in this list. So then what justifies this list to be taken literally.

You can’t “steal” a divine “seal” that can only be given by God. It’s quite literally impossible. Nothing on this earth, or universe, can change that. God is the Authority. He oversees all, including who will be marked with the seal.

No, it means what it says. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. (Rev 14: 4)

Pre-trib rapture is a false teaching ... that began in the early 1800's. Mathew 24 is clear that Believers will have to survive that 7 year tribulation. There is not time in Heaven & Hell. Time only applies to the living in the Universe. When you die ... your soul leaves the Universe & time ... and goes straight to judgement Day which is at the end of the Universe & time. The Jews are not literal ethnic jews but a reference to the 12 rays of creation, or 12 "tribes" of creation. The book of Revelation is written metaphorically and cannot be interpreted literally. It is about the ascension of man with regard to the evolution from a 2-strand (the 2-witnesses) carbon based DNA to a 12-strand crystalline based DNA. The two witnesses in this group have already perished.
