I loved that they took the step to show us Hiccup and Astrid's life after marriage and their children. I think the filmmakers knew how much the fans have fallen in love with these characters and I'm so happy they went that extra step. Also, the baby night/light fury hybrid babies were the most adorable thing ever!! 💜💜💜💜

They finally did it. From the axe being flown next to Hiccup's head in the first movie to them falling in love with each other and then having kids in the end. This is probably the best movie ending a guy could ask for.

I believe that Hiccup would tell his daughter that when he is gone, the duty of protecting the dragons and the Hidden World will fall down to her, as well as being New Berk's Chieftess (quite possibly the first). Since Stoick said that Hiccup's destiny was to find the Hidden World, it will be Zephyr's destiny to defend it. And soon enough, she could pass it on to her own child.

Doesn't Stoick and Hiccup have absurdly similar hair color? With different lighting going around in the trilogy itself, a slight difference in the hue would place the colors visibly different under a light source. Is this information 'specifically' pointed to in the book?

I love how Astrid looks and here clothed and hiccop I love that the kids are blended just right and they look unique

I'd love a new trilogy of Hiccups kids, specifically his daughter, and New Berk. Maybe her venturing into the Hidden world and taking notes or finding a dragon who didnt make it to the hidden world and trying to help it find sits way home and forging a three piece trilogy with this dragon. Also would love to see hiccup and toothless in this trilogy but the main focus being the new generation and New Berk protecting the Hidden World. Maybe even an adventure beyond the archipelago. I like the idea of the daughter also riding the light fury (specifically toothless' mate), and gaining her trust and bonding with her, or one of the night lights. I would personally enjoy the idea of the light fury having a more mother-daughter relationship while toothless had a more brother/best-friend bond with hiccup. Maybe I'll toss a few script ideas around and send it to dreamworks XD

I just love the idea that Hiccup and Astrid don't visit the dragons often... but stop to visit them sometimes. And that when either Toothless or Hiccup are old and possibly dying, they go to see eachother one last time. It's artistic, and heartbreaking.

Am I the only one that wants Nuffink and Zephyr to have their own show, preferably when they are a little bit older? Also, did Ruffnut marry Throk in the end? I can't imagine Tuffnut and Ruffnut living together forever. However, I'm pretty confident that Fishlegs and Heather are together. If we get a show following Nuffink and Zephyr it would be exciting seeing all the characters we had known in the future.

it's implied at the end of hiccup and astrids wedding that ruffnut chose fishlegs to be with, as he and snotlout were rivals for her affection. the movies didn't follow the shows, unlike how the shows tried to follow the movies. if there is another show it most likely means that heather will not be with fishlegs, unless they decide to say ruffnut and him gave it a try and it didn't work out. tuffnut will most likely be the bachelor character, or find a newly created character to be with, as will snoutlout.

I started crying at the end of the movie for I knew it shall be our last flight as Dragon Riders. Httyd was the source of my happiness for many years. For when I was young I faced many challenges but riding along Hiccup and the other dragon riders always brought light back into my life. It was a pleasure and honor to grow and learn by their sides. And I hope that Hiccup and Astrid’s children bring prosperity along with honor and glory to the people of Berk. It was an honor flying with all of you and the dragon riders. LONG LIVE THE CHIEF!!!!

Oh!! It looks like you haven't read the books!!! I totally recommend them!! Warning tho, if you thought the movies were emotionals, the books... Oh boy... You'll definitely cry on the last book... Also when you read them... You'll have to prepare yourself and think the movies are like an alternative universe to the books... Because only the names are similar... Everything else is different but at the same time kinda not, and you'll love Hiccup Horrendous the third (and the first and the second as you'll learn about them 👀)

I love how Hiccup traits his daughter, such a gentleman :)

I personally like to believe that they will become secret dragon riders who protect the dragons and their home from those who would abuse the knowledge of dragons or seek to harm them. I also like to imagine them sneaking off to fly with Toothless and the Light Fury’s children as after that first flight I believe the same love their parents had for dragons would grow stronger within them as they clearly gain it after meeting Toothless. Hiccup himself said that the Hooligans would guard the secret of the Hidden World until the world was ready for them to return so it stands to reason that at least the chiefs and their children would know about the dragons and have a love and connection with the dragons. I also like to imagine them training the Nightlights to visit their home at night and go flying them as to not be seen and keep the dragons hidden.

Zachary Khan 1, didn’t know that, and 2, if it were me personally I would probably sneak out every night to spend time with the Nightlights. Plus with Hiccup saying that the Berkians would forever guard the secret of the Hidden World it’s hard not to think that they’d still have those connections and bonds with the dragons.

These videos make me so ridiculously happy. I've always loved theorising this stuff and even drawing embarrassing fanart of it, so to get to watch your videos and see the incredible amount of research and effort put into them, is so lovely. Great work, Isaac!

Apparently I missed the notification of this (🤷🏻‍♀️) and when I checked and saw it was about Hiccup and Astrid’s kids, I just made a really high-pitched squeaking noise ❤️❤️ I love both of the kids, also I found out that Astrid had Zephyr at the age of 22, about 1 year after the dragons went to the Hidden World, and that Zephyr is 8 years old and Nuffink is 5 when we see them meeting Toothless! I also have a album on the phone, completely filled with pictures/fan art of them and it has 90 pictures, at the time of commenting…..I am WAY to attached to these characters

There will always be those who wish to hunt or kill dragons. Hiccup couldn't stop them all because they'd just keep coming, so he had no choice but to let the dragons go to where they belonged. In my own opinion, it's humanity's fault that dragons are exiled down there.

You have such an amazing character and passion towards your work, which I admire greatly. Thank you for making all of this great content for us, keep up the amazing work and continue being beautiful :D

I think if Zephyr has her father's personality then she won't want to be chief and persu her passion for exsploring. If you remember in "How to Train Your Dragon 2" Astrid said that being chief would be such an honor. If Nuffink shares his mother's point of view then chances are he will feel the same way, but unlike Astrid, it is possible for him to become chief.

It’s crazy growing up from the first movie to the cartoon net work series to the last movies been such a blast now I’m 17

I was actually so happy that Hiccup and Toothless both finally have lives, mates, and even children of their own. It just felt satisfying and didn't feel like their stories have stagnated, but completed. I like how the name "Zephyr" went to the daughter and "Nuffink" went with the son because the names sound like they were for otherwise.

I still notice that Isaac likes to call them "Dr-Ay-guns" instead of the correctly pronounced "Dr-ah-guns". 😋

I absolutely loved the ending of HtTYD3! And I see a bright future for Zephyr and Nuffink being and great leader and warrior respectively, just like their parents! Great work on the HtTYD videos, especially on Hiccup and Astrid's relationship!

Something I would have loved to see, is Hiccups descendants. And due to his and Zephyr's habits of documenting things, His descendants could very well know exactly where the dragons are hidden, and could be alive nowadays, protecting them. But what if some evil maniac who wants to rule the world were to discover the truth? What if, a dragon were to be spotted in the modern day, and the hidden world is discovered? I think Hiccup's descendants would rise up, find other modern day Berkians and join forces with dragons once again to protect them. DUDES.... I FUCKIN' WANNA SEE THAT, like seriously Can someone make that please?

I'm glad you did another video regarding the HTTYD series, thought I would like to know more about Eret, Son of Eret (if that's possible)

It makes me sad that this is the final HTTYD on screen appearance that will center around Astrid and Hiccup. Yeah they announced they would be making a spin off focusing around the kids but still. I wish there was a way to make a lifetime long movie that just follows these characters through their entire lifetime. I would love to see hiccup and Astrid grow to old age and then we could get a really sweet and heartbreaking scene where they’re on their death beds and all the dragons come back to say one final goodbye and all the burkians and dragons light the ship on fire together and you get one final roar from every dragon that was affected by hiccup and Astrid. Edit: If anyone sees this comment, please DM me any updates about the next HTTYD movie that might come out. Or just DM me any cool ideas you have for these movies. Clever one there hybrid are the night light and I also think that Nuffink will get the white night light with the black scales and I think zephyr will have another drogon.

The ending of Hidden World made me cry. Not just, like, a few tears. No, borderline *Bawling*. I saw it in theaters, so I was trying not to make any noise, but I cried more than I ever have at a movie. That’s when this series was cemented as one of my favorite movie series of all time

I also love watching your video all the time my favorite movies are probably how to train your dragon
