Whitwell and Reepham Station Missed and Greatly Needed Gala
A gloriously sunny Febuary 2022 and the guys at Whitwell and Reepham Station in Norfolk held a gala to celebrate a quadruple of significant dates, being 13 years since the station was reopened, 140 years since the original construction of the station, Andrew Barclay "Victory's" final appearance due to its boiler certificate expiring and the final and for me the biggest was the return to service of R.S.H "Agecroft No.3" after the completion of its overhaul. The gala consisted of passenger, demonstration goods trains and double headed runs.
After a number of visits when the train hadn't been running it was great to finally get here to film and i hope i can visit on running days more often.

Good video. One of the less known heritage lines here in Norfolk. But definitely worth a visit.

Most definitely a nice group of guys and girls up there. I always try to pop in when up that way but my first with trains running.
Excellent video of the gala event Whitwell & Reepham station 👍👍 I like both engines because I 0-4-0 saddle tanks, but I kinda like the RSH one because of it two different blue colour livery’s. Will be great if this little short railway has another gala event and bring a perhaps a Peckett saddle tank in a similar size in green livery to visit in the near future.

Thanks. Yes both are very smart. Agecroft does look good with the two different blues. Yer hopefully the gala could become a regular event and as you say bring in guest locos
