To experience the Whitsunday Islands, I highly recommend a 3-day sailing trip around the Whitsunday Islands and to the outer reef. We just finished the trip with Kiana during Christmas break 2020 and had an awesome time on board. Scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef and outer reef, departing from Airlie beach. Kiana is the only boat that takes you to the outer reef from Airlie beach. The trip is 3 days and 2 nights, which includes a trip to the Whitehaven Beach and 3-4 dives in total. Scuba diving the outer reef is significantly better than around the Whitsunday Island. Visibility is noticeably better with more marine life to see.
