Great story and information, Evan. You always dive deep with your research. I agree, the Stetson Open Road, is an iconic and very handsome hat! Cheers.

Thanks. My dad was a Stetson fan. He always had several - one for church, one for Saturday shopping and the livestock auction, one for daily wear on the ranch. The hats moved down the line as they became worn. Last stop was the one he wore to grease the windmill. My son recently absconded with my best Open Road. He deserves to continue the tradition.

My dad and my gramps also had Stetson Open Road hats for when they dressed up for occasions. I have a couple of them myself, they are great hats. Your son has good taste!@@evangreen9430

Good morning Evan, another great video, how do the firearm donations work when giving to a museum, does the transfer need to be done?

Fascinating artifact and story, Evan. 👍 Do you know (or are you willing to guess) why Tim McCoy was adopted by the Northern Cheyenne nation rather than by either the Eastern Shoshone or the Northern Arapaho nations, both of which were located in close proximity to him in the Wind River Basin?

Well, Noah, that's because I lied. Misspoke. Went off script. Tongue tripped over my teeth. He was adopted by the Northern Arapaho, not the Northern Cheyenne.

Do you know the address of the gun shop in Cheyenne?

Terry, I don't have an address. Multiple sources say the shop was located at the corner of Eddy (now Pioneer) and 16th Street. Where the municipal parking garage is now.
