I was holding my breath during the bar routine, considering all the elbow surgeries Whitney went through. Her performance was IMPRESSIVE!

Shout out to dad, who always captures the moments in-between, such as the teammate fixing the leotard, and watching the judges put the score in! 👍😁

Good job! I love watching you on beam and floor. So elegant and powerful. Bars will get there. Just takes some time to get it all back. You’ve got it though….great job!

8th AA! That's some tough competition! Because your scores were really good! Don't be so hard on yourself. Really the only cause for concern imho was the wobble on the beam series, but I thought the rest of that routine looked really good. And series wobbles just happen sometimes - I'm sure you'll be rock solid next meet. Floor looked solid, too. Your vault was probably the best I remember seeing you do - the landing was much more controlled. And don't worry about bars - it was your first time competing in a while! Plus, as you say, you didn't get a proper warmup. You did absolutely fabulous!

I can see bars in the lineup, beam possibly as well. But I wouldn't imagine her vault being in the lineup...and that's ok. I think she'll enjoy it and learn alot

Whitney is so good at wolf turns, so many gymnasts struggle with them yet she makes them look easy!

Omg we were at the meet as lvl 4 and stayed to watch lvl 10’s the next day but we didn’t see you! You did amazing!

I laughed so hard at the end with Braxton and his excitement! You can be really really proud on yourself Whitney, you must be working really hard after everything that you've been through with your elbow! And I can still remember the times when you were little and you had to cry sometimes when you fell down. And of course it's okay to cry sometimes, but if you compare that to who you are now, I think you also grew a lot mentally! I am so so so proud on you and I hope that you are proud on yourself too!❤ I can't wait to see what the future brings for you. Lots of love from the Netherlands😘

Great job just competing everything with recent surgery. Your bars will be amazing once you get your endurance back. It seemed like you struggled to keep your elbows straight at times and that is probably because of your surgery. You will be back to full strength soon. Congratulations on a great meet!

But its been really hard for me, to watch her thriving for the Olympics since I was 3, and when she almost reached the goal that she set 11 years ago, she decides to do something else. Of course I respect her decision and it is probably the best for her, but I am just reminding her. Sorry if that offends you, I 'm sure you want the best for her too.❤
