It is sad that we are cursed with racism. My best friend, whom I referred to as my British sister, was white. We were friends for decades. She recently passed. What a great loss it was to me when I shared her demise with her children. Her children always treated me as an aunt. Her home was my home when I visited. I have proven that it could be done.

Braids is not among one set of persons of one colour or ethnic region so stop the negative response, because of a persons skin tone and be happy that people show their appreciation.

Vikings, druids etc wore braids hundreds of years ago. It is also a practical style for seafarers and tribes back in the day to wear to avoid tangling.

God knows how happy and humble I am feeling after watching all the videos of her that you have shared so far. After hearing her explain about her mom’s ministry, I will really be glad if you can also interview her mom to tell us more. We have so much to learn from this family. It must be harder for her hair texture to hold those braids in cause her hair's so loose, whereas afro texture hair is more curly and grippy (it holds more). They probably had to tie her braids extra tight. It looks cute tho
