White Supremacy Meets Eco-Warriors | Decade of Hate

Ойын-сауық

Concerns surrounding the environment and the climate crisis are no longer just the focus of liberals and the left.
Eco-fascism is a growing racist ideology on the extreme right, marrying the ideas of environmentalism with white supremacy and ethnonationalism.
With the climate crisis worsening by the day, eco-fascist thought has deepened alongside it. Many modern eco-fascists blame overpopulation, immigration, and globalization for our current predicament. And they say the only way to stop a total climate catastrophe is to close borders and return to ethno states.

This video is good at highlighting how those on the extreme right will find literally ANY issue with which to use foreigners as scapegoats. They don’t actually care about the environment. The basic psychological impulse is fear and hatred of the other, the environment is simply like one of many things in their worldview, a filter through which to air these grievances.

This sort of thinking goes all the way back to 1798 when Thomas Malthus argued population growth would outstrip our ability to supply the concurrent need for increased resources (especially food), resulting in inevitable cycles of overpopulation, rapid resource depletion, and extreme human suffering. In a brilliant essay titled Who Killed Nuclear Energy and How to Revive It, Emmit Penney points out that “The postwar American environmental movement began as an outgrowth from the eugenics movement." Of course, malthusians with fundamentally eugenecist perspectives always want other people to go away while they lead long, rich lives themselves. Such was the former president of the Sierra Club, David Brower - a noted malthusian opposed carbon-free nuclear energy. In 1968, Paul Erlich authored the Population Bomb at the request of Brower. Erlich said that "...giving society cheap abundant energy at this point would be the equivalent of giving an idiot child a machine gun." The takeaway here: be skeptical of anybody, right or left wing, that tries to claim we shouldn't seek the most energy-dense and efficient solutions (nuclear, natural gas) to support the globe's growing power needs.

All European nations with the exception of Kosovo I think, have a below replacement level birth rate, and that has been going on for at least 3-4 decades. How are immigrants to blame for that? The same goes for Whites in America. They’re population is falling on it’s own, with below replacement level birth rates, high suicide rates, and people not getting married or starting families. Incidentally, Blacks in America, who constitute 13-14% of the US population, will also be 13-14% of America’s population in 2050. Asians and Hispanics are rising. Either way, by 2050, America will have no majority race group, unlike today’s 60 something white. But again, it’s just below replacement level birth rates amongst the whites. It’s not like the Mexicans have been poisoning them with some secret underground drug in the tacos or burritos they sell, that renders them sterile. Incidentally, that fall or massive drop has been occurring for decades, since the late 1950s, when whites were like 92% of the population I think.

Not if that race are lazy ignorant leeches that dont care about anything. I was never racist growing up, but I'm sorry over time after seeing with my own eyes how a majority of a race just don't care about anything except themselves is sad. Acting like they're owed something from me cause my skin color without knowing my ancestors history is just plain ignorance. The fact that you can't even say that these days without fear of being "canceled" just shows the problem. No open dialog, just poor me...mind you slavery ended over 150 yrs ago !!! Even if my ancestors were here during that Era ( they weren't), it has nothing to do with me !!! And non of them know what slavery is like. But God forbid they talk and have educated discussions. And honestly alot of struggle in the world isn't skin based, it's a social economic situation. I say get rid of anyone who doesn't pull their own weight and help the planet no matter skin color or economic standing.

It makes sense once you think about it. Love your land, love your people. We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children. How could we secure a future for our children if the world they are born into is a hellscape of litter, pollution and dystopian capitalism? Everyone has a rightous mind - we each have our concerns and different ideas of how to address them. It's not like we just stole the environmental issues from the left here - as they even pointed out it is deeply tied to our way of thinking and has been from the start. It's no myth that overpopulation is unsustainable not just for economic reasons, but for social and environmental reasons too. There is only so much land you can build on, there are only so many seats in a school classroom, and forcing different groups of people together will inevitably lead to conflict - no matter what you do. At the core of it, we want to be left alone to enjoy our culture and land in peace, and habour a safe environment for our future generations. If European peoples were to colonise and destroy a tranquil territory abroad and ruin the lives its natives, then you'd rightfully declare it immoral.

We have created the monstrous system whereby in the west and Europe had benefited and left third world to eat off garbage and still have the Audacity to say the poor is to blame for the system we capitalize. So if there’s going to be a need of shift of suffering in this world it should start by cleansing off the ones who benefitted from all the years on the expense of others. While we’re concerns about the colour of someone skin or which restaurant to go fir dinner and how bad the traffic was the 80%are fighting to find food to prevent his or her child from dyeing today then go through that agai the next day. It's infuriatingly stupid and disingenuous. The border wall (the one that already exists) has caused irreparable ecological damage to the borderlands. Aside from thousands of miles of native vegetation that was removed for its construction (such as saguaros, which can live and grow for hundreds of years), it prevents wildlife from crossing since any openings were deemed potential weak spots. Land-based fauna that has migrated over the human-imposed "border" for millennia has had to adapt to irrevocable disruptions in their migration patterns caused by the border wall. This has arguably accelerated the decline of endangered species such as ocelots and Mexican wolves. They don't care about the environment, they just want to find any excuse to blame immigrants.

what? leftist environmentalism doesn’t claim overpopulation as a problem though. They co-opted the environmentalism in the first place from the left. The left = saving the environment. The right = saving certain people. Combined you have: “save the environment by saving only certain people”

modern environmentalism can be traced back to romanticism and enlightenment liberalism which could owe itself through protestant noncomformist offshoots, the islamic golden age, anti-pollution drives and legislation in the industrial revolution and so on it's a real hodgepodge. environmentalism as a movement is a product of modernity which receives its best articulation on the far left.

2:30 That's how you Properly explain extremism with real situations that are actually occurring. Yes the world is extremely populated with people. Yes because of people ecosystems have been extremely damaged. And no people are not powerless to change that. We have to appropriate an ideology that was nearly wiped out with the foundation of America. That means rather than marketing destruction we have to seek out and to seek out and utilize all markets that would favor creation. Water irrigation systems completely organic Producing not only clean drinking water But beginning the process for renewable soil. Further pushing agriculture Am utilizing renewable resources. Many of these renewable resources more than capable of outperforming mineral resources or metals. For instance hemp when properly processed is 10 times more dorable than steel making better body armor and Better materials to build with. Not only that it's highly fire resistant Making it easy to market for affordable fire equipment For our firefighters to use during this drastic climate change. We have to perpetuate the knowledge for easily usable science. Like the ability to process and create water. We are not only able to produce oxygen by favoring or organic materials. But we're also capable of creating water from just the basic hydrogen. If Arizona had access to water production technology many towns would have never had to be evacuated. Many of these technologies can be make shifted and created from materials that you find around your house. But this type of Knowledge leads people away from dependency. Both government and corporations would rather people not become less dependent. Because the less dependent people actually are the less power they themselves actually hold And the more powerful true democracy becomes. People will naturally develop a need To become more aware of what they can do And how to properly compensate For their natural shortcomings. Effectively eliminating the excessive need for leadership. Naturally We will still have a need for some form of leadership But leadership would not ever again have the level of power that they have had in the past.
