480p youtube compression degrades the quality so much you would be surprised to see the original, because it wouldn't be nearly as busted as it is here.

4:15 "This show is dedicated to the Detroit Free Press & journalistic integrity" Why? Because in March 2001 the Detroit Free Press aka The Freep broke the news that Jack & Meg were never brother and sister but were once husband and wife. They used the brother & sister cover so fans focused on the music and not the relationship dynamic and would never have to answer questions like "so, the other person in the band is your introverted ex-wife? How does that work? and "Wait, his name was John Gillis but then he married you and took your last name and now he sings songs like Lord, send me an angel... how does that make you feel performing that with him?" Ah yes, thanks Freep.

Imagine living in Detroit and it’s just so grim year after year and then the clouds part and you get a gift from the rock n roll gods like this! It was like a minor miracle! A Ray of light in the Darkness! And not only were they young and beautiful but they rocked hard! JW playing a double neck! Amazing! This duo kept Rock n Blues alive through the 2000 Era. Now it’s done but they did their part for ten years. Thank you white Stripes! And thanks to whoever filmed and uploading this show! This is what KZread is made for!

Kinda, They sound the sameish sometimes, Allthough the keys are a more 70's bluesy indie rock band, They can sound hard but they arent punky like the white stripes, Jacks influences are all over the place and you hear it, The white stripes are a punky sludgeabilly blues rock band

Jack White definitely got hella inspired by the Flat Duo Jets XD But the Black Keys have their own style though. And if you listen to Dan Auerbach (the guitarist and singer of the Black Keys) influence Junior Kimbrough (An old blues artist). You can totally hear Dans influence from Juniors solos and style of playing. Not to mention they did several covers of his. So no. Dan if anything was inspired by Junior, not Jack White -_- Just listen to Junior and you immediately hear the solo, rhythm and melody style. And you listen to Early Jack White and the Flat Duo Jets, and he tried to do what they did essentially. So yeah. There are the facts anyway. I Love all three of them, Jack White, Flat duo jets and the Black keys by the way :)
