THANKS FOR THE VID!! My range rover sport was smoking bad and my mechanic had no idea what the issue was. Ordered pcv valve for $65 and replaced breather hose too ..no more smoke 😃

This is a great video, spent 30 minutes trying to get it on and couldn't. Saw this and got it on within 5 minutes for both. With most of the time looking for the sandpaper.

Thanks for sharing this. I love the ingenuity you used to save cost. This might save me the $650 I was quoted for the mechanic to do the job due to the tight space.

@@vinaysoans6505 , my independent Jag repair shop completed the repair without supercharger removal. The dealer techs can do it, but won't, because they are forced to follow directions from corporate. The independent did the repair for 400 dollars vs the 1100 dollar quote from the dealer. 🤣

Thanks for the video; great presentation. Before you changed out the PCV valves, did your system present a vacuum error code?

What if same problem but for 2008 supercharged 400

I changed the pcv valve on my 4.4 but it still blows white smoke from the exhaust. I don’t see any oil and coolant mixture so I don’t know what’s going on. The codes that’s showing is p0171&174

How quickly did the smoke clear up after you put the new PCV breathers in ?? ? I have the same issue but I don’t have the super charger same engine but no S/charger .. I found that the PVC closet to the fire wall was badly ripped and the other one had very small rips on it .. So I ordered some and will be here on Wednesday ..

That's all well and good, but why don't you show the correct placement of the strings? There are two sizes. Land rover sport 5.0 v8 rv2012 supercharged

Just go buy two new covers so you won't have any issues with old covers coming loose. They will get loose in the future.

White Smoke is gone? Try to scan the car and check what is problem. Did you try delete all faults?
