CALICO ROCK - Where the White River trickles its way through the highlands near Pettigrew in Madison County, the little warm-water stream is narrow enough in spots to jump across. By the time it reaches the river towns of Norfork and Calico Rock, and after forming three big reservoirs, the White River flows wide, cold and full of trout.
