    Can't scrub with bare hands, just saying. That's just rubbing. And rubbing ain't scrubbing.

    I come from a mixed family (mom was white, dad was black) and my mom used bath poofs while the old timers in her family used sponges, washcloths, or some other implement to wash themselves. I never heard of any of them using their hands. My dad's family uses washcloths. As an adult, I've moved over to Japanese bath cloths because of the stronger exfoliation, I'm also curious to try out the African net washcloths. In college I had mostly white roommates and I've never heard of anyone just using their hand to clean themselves. It sounds like something you would do if you were stranded in the woods 😂

    That’s all I’m saying lol, it sounds primitive to me to NOT use some form of rag, loofah, or sponge to clean yourself. I mean if you’re stranded in the woods so be it, but why opt to NOT use something when we have so many alternatives 😂

    If it's good enough for surgeons it's good enough for my body. All hands, all day, baby.

    if a surgeon cleaned your body bare handed you are entitled to compensation. Contact a lawyer.

    Wait but in all seriousness what does this even mean? lol at no point would a surgeon clean any part of a patient bare handed, let alone their butt crack…

    Hear me out tho... If you go to a restaurant, dont you expect the cook to wash his hands after he goes "number 2"? Do you expect him to use a washcloth?

    Valid point, in a perfect world that would be ideal but it’s not realistic so no, BUT he isn’t digging into his butt crack bare handed (I hope🥲) & the assumption of germs/nastiness is a risk you have to accept when eating in an environment you don’t have total control over. Not really comparable to a poor hygiene choice (in my opinion) in your own home where you do have total control.

    I use exfoliating gloves, an exfoliating sponge, or exfoliating scrub. Just depends. You also need to take into consideration, people have different cultures. Not every black person uses a cloth 😂 not all white people do ... some black people use their hands, some white people use their hands... some cultures dont use toilet roll... ? Some cultures dont even have toilets or showers ...

    This isn’t a conversation about cultural differences, it’s a conversation about sanitation. I’m open minded and did not intend to come off as bigoted but my point still stands..not using some form of rag, loofah, sponge etc when bathing is unsanitary. I can respect all cultures and still observe an unsanitary practice lol.

    What about a bath loofah? I use it for my body. than I take some foam out of the loofah and use it to clean my groin and butt with my hand.

  • @fearsteez

    @fearsteez

    The loofah is great for your body, but my question is. Why not use the loofa for your groin and butt as well? I presume because that would feel gross to the use on your body again right? If so then why is your hand any different? 🤔

  • @murmurghle

    @murmurghle

    @@fearsteez You are correct. I wouldnt want to use it on my body again if i washed my butt with it. I rinse my hand and wash it in the shower after doing those areas btw. Thats why it doesnt feel as gross.

  • @fearsteez

    @@murmurghle totally understand, my logic against not using a washcloth is: you wouldn’t clean your counters with your bare hands, your dishes, or even wash your car bare handed, why? Because your hand lacks what makes sponges, rags, and loofahs good cleaning tools..the coarseness to cause abrasion and actually scrub debris off of a surface. Aside from that going hand to crack just seems primitive to me when we have alternative means, my butt stays pretty clean but I just don’t want to clean it bare handed if I can help it lol, like aside from it just feelin a little nasty to me, my brain is just like “why would I opt to go hand when I have other means of doing this?”

    America and American culture isnt the only country or culture... just because you guys believe its weird, doesn't make it weird. Other civilizations have been doing their thing for thousands of years and seem to be doing well better than the west 👍 we also dont need some random telling us how to wash 😂 ...

    If this offended you I apologize, but I never once spoke poorly of another culture. In fact I was speaking directly to my fellow American because in OUR culture, this is the norm. You’re welcome to wash or not wash your body with whatever you want..as I am welcome to think it’s unsanitary. Thank you for watching and commenting tho friend. ❤
