Maybe they’re self imposed? Maybe she’s been a leader for so long she has no sense of self and she clings to her position and her method of doing things, even though it’s highly adverse for the health and well-being of her society and people. Maybe she’s so afraid that she can’t change or be anything other than herself that she forces everyone to remain the same and abide by the same rules forever and ever and ever. There has to be a reason why Rose is so fascinated by the human ability of change and choice. I'll be honest, the main reason why I want White Pearl to be the original Pink is because it always really really really annoyed me how White, Blue, and Yellow Pearls are entirely monochromatic while (our) Pearl isn't, so it'd make sense she was made as a mix of the other Pearls to better suit Pink, hence her color pallet.

Exactly. She was GIVEN to Pink, not made for her. I always compared it to nurses, you have the general nurses who have differing jobs/areas (yellow, blue and pink pearl) and then there's the Head Nurse who works in all areas and also trains the other nurses. That would be our Pearl, she even behaved differently than the other pearls from what I've seen before the rebellion. She's clearly smarter and has the capability for doing things the other pearls can't or are unaware that they can do. I wonder if in the new episodes we will see if the other pearls can summon weapons of their own, or if it's exclusive to our Pearl.

@@ZimVader-0017 I wouldn't say she's smarter. More that her responsibilities allowed her more freedom than what is usually given to a Pearl. That being said, both our Pearl and Yellow's Pearl do more and are more outgoing than Blue Pearl. Blue Pearl seems to be a step above a living center piece. While our Pearl and Yellow Pearl are more like secretaries.

No I think our pearl used to be white diamonds pearl because her color palette-like white diamonds reflects all kinds of pinks, yellows, blues, and sea foam greens. So it makes sense why our pearls color is like that. Also if they made our pearl completely white, it would give it away from the beginning.

I think what is new now is that it is confirmed that a diamond can be fused with another diamond, but it is not something we will see for sure in the show

Anyone else notice White Diamond's pearl has never been referred to as White Pearl? She is only talked about in reference to her diamond. Even when Blue says, "it's White's pearl" in LFHTH.

1. It wasn’t if diamonds can fuse. It was if diamonds can fuse with other diamonds. 2. Fusion names are made by the fusion. So their names wouldn’t be changed because Rose is a diamond.

Plot aside. I want to see White Diamond's court. Like gems working directly under White diamond's rule. Especially if her court reflects her personality like the other diamond courts do. Would her court play more like administrators and managers in gem culture? Are they older and more powerful than the other courts? Are they the judges to oversee court hearings when no diamond is present? I just want to see them in action. Very interested to see how they act.

WAIT I just realized amethyst being overcooked foreshadows pink diamond being born differently than other diamonds.

So, White's current Pearl might really have been Pink's original pearl. The Pearl from the Crystal gems might have been White's and given to Pink to teach her how to run her colony because she was competent and experienced. Then Pink's Original Pearl was acquired by White to teach her how to be effective. Maybe she had picked some of Pink's behavior. Since White is really harsh and only tolerates perfection, she might have seriously damaged Pink Pearl into being perfect and having correct posture, behavior and attitude. Cracking her eye as punishment for a mistake and eventually making her robotic by mind control?

Idk if you’ve already said this but another thing to back up white pearl being original pink pearl is that white pearls pearl is on her chest just like pink diamond. Yellow and blue pearl’s pearls are on the same place as their diamonds. Also just wanted to point out that our pearl’s pearl is on her forehead which is the same place as white diamond’s pearl

We already know that diamonds can fuse because Steven fused with amethyst to form smoky quartz which real name probably would be Smoky diamond and pink diamond in her, Rose quartz identity fused with Pearl, our Pearl to form rainbow diamond which would be the real name for rainbow quartz

We already knew this. I don’t think anyone forgot that rose and Steven fused with people. The question was if diamonds can fuse with diamonds. Which obviously they can.

I for some reason I absolutely hate that Whte Pearl could be Pinks Pearl.

To be fair it was kinda obvious that diamonds are capable of fusion (at least with non-diamonds) since we've seen Rose/Pink fused multiple times and same goes with Steven
