Tears of joy. Thought this loving story was lost. It has been 70 years since l heard it last. Words cannot tell you how happy you have made me. It is a peaceful joy lacking in the world around me now. Many blessings to you and the remaining handful of our people. Praying our children will find their way back home.

I am from the Cibecue Apache from the White Mountain Apache Tribe in Cibecue, Arizona. Father, Eagle Clan, Mother, Butterfly Clan. Hence, I claim the Butterfly Clan. Women lineage is claimed, and is dominant. Thank you for sharing my people's history, Steve. I appreciate it. Come visit the Mogollon Monster in AZ sometimes!! 😄👣👍 P/S I speak fluent Apache, English is my second language. I believe it is referred to as Athabasca.

Hello from Scotland. I have sat through tears and listened to your tenderness, your passion and your love of your people and respect you have for the Creator. It has truly touched my heart. I was sent to your channel from a Canadian Hunter/Guide called Steve Isdahl who has, over the past two years that I've viewed his channel, shown nothing but true respect to the true people of North America. Steve has many friends that are First Nation folks and over time they have come to share their stories with him. Some of the stories are uplifting and flowing with wisdom but many are sad stories. Stories that have made me weep for your people. I've come away from this beautiful recording feeling smaller but also feeling better settled within myself as I am very much in tune with nature myself in my daily life. I thank you for taking the time to record this for us all. Many, many thanks and blessings are being sent your way from me. I wish you peace, always.

@ushima_ Are you familiar with the following book: Amerindian Rebirth - Reincarnation Belief Among North American Indians and Inuit. The book is focused on reincarnation and the concepts of self identity, kinship, religion, cosmology, resiliency, and change among native North American peoples from the time of contact until the present day. The case studies show a wide variety of belief's around reincarnation. Like same clan re-birth and next life identification of specific individuals. Male and female life times Most of them believe that rebirth happens within one year and that identifying marks such as birth marks - or marks given a dying person can help with the identification process. Your reply sounds similar to reincarnation quote its born into another reality. Every non white group of people have belief in reincarnation, they just have there own way of expressing it like the version of it you explained.

@ushima_ Curious bro if the following is accurate or not: . The Hopi concept of death and the afterlife is also deeply connected with their entire cosmic understanding. “Afterlife” is not the best way to describe the Hopi’s sense of what happens after death; it is more a continuation of a very long cycle. The Hopi don’t explicitly talk of reincarnation but the general belief is that people are born back into this world to continually take part in the immense continuity of humankind. working its way through seven worlds in seven successive universes for an eventual forty-nine states of existence. Is that about right? or not? Just interested on a personal note. By the way thanx for responding appreciate ya brah.
