Cheers mate, just about to bin it and then saw your video showing me the reset button, I pressed it and now I'm back in business.

I have a white Knight 7kg and on the last cycle it started banging and grinding really loudly, on opening the door and looking inside I've noticed the 3 screws holding the drum appear to have sheared and look damaged. Do you know if this can be repaired? Many thanks (and Merry Christmas!)

Just came across your video...I've a 44AW model...when switched on after putting few bits in and selecting high...it just whirs/clicks for a few minutes then starts to rotate...it was heating then today I tried and although it rotated (after few mins) it didn't heat...is likely to be thermostat? I have a zanussi dryer and fault was not drying properly so I did a full strip down .firstly the felt belt had worn right down to nothing and started wearing away the plastic casing which has been replaced and secondly found leaking air from the housing by the fan.it had come away because of the sticky back foam seal. I silicone it all round ,compressed air it all out and put back together……problem solved

Hi, I have a White Knight Tumble Dryer (43AW), and when turning (even when empty) it sounds like there is a brick inside the drum. Every revolution there is a banging noise. Is this a faulty bearing?

you need is to change the bearing on your white knight dryer

i so was getting humming noise so replaced capacitor x2 times still humming and not turning when i try to push it it turns but very slowly belt ok so is rollers might have to scrap it which i dont want to do

I bought White Knight A+96M7W 7kg Condenser Tumble Dryer and used only 3 months but it stops running 4th minute and shows Tank indicator thought there is single drop of water. Please may I know how to fix it?

But surely if there was that much fluff inside the machine, that can only mean a design fault. My own Hoover dryer is a condenser type but fluff is able to bypass the filter and get into the condenser causing the machine to eventually over heat. This is design fault because it should almost all be caught in the filter, not collect in the machine. Its deffo not down to misuse

You can find the button on the back of the machine. Once it has cooled just press the button to reset. As mentioned here some cannot be reset and must be replaced.

@@How-to-repair Thanks for the information. Any idea if the rear bearing and pulley are still available?

Put new fan and bearings in cleaned all fluff from everyware but now it keeps stopping when it gets hot then starts when its cooled down .i took pic of wireing so ime sure i put it all back together again properly .any ideas please
