I love this animatic. Specially given White says the last sentence to Steven, not in spite but in understanding. The way she looks at him, only makes it seem White has pity for Steven. And unlike Yellow and Blue, actually understands hes not his mother.

I so hope for this white diamond. It would be so easy to make her a bloodthirsty monster, or an emotionless authoritative figure who was made to be feared. Giving her a motherly role, one that shows just how much the other diamonds mean to her would be such a stark contrast from the rest of homeworld as we know it.

The ending where White called Pink's palanquin to see if she was still alive was the saddest! White's face when Pink didn't pick up made me cry rivers!

This is still one of my favourite fanon interpretations of White! Canon WD has grown on me in a way, but I'd still love to see how different things could have been.

This is it. This is the best “after all”animatic no doubt holy shit...and hey your early design of pink diamond really resembles her actual design!

The size desparity isn't as ridiculous, but still! Really well done! That's what I don't get about Pink Diamond. Gems are suppose to come out of the ground fully formed. Even if the Gem type is really small and immature, like a Ruby, there isn't suppose to be a period of aging, no child or teenage years. So WHY is Pink so much smaller than the rest of her family? Why do the Diamonds value her, when they seem to hate off-colors and smaller defective gems? The crux of the start of her arc is that she's sick of being treated like a child. Yet the show always PORTRAYS her as one, in terms of size and attitude, and it doesn't line up.

@@jiado6893 Don't forget the Diamonds are different from normal gems. By that logic, why are Yellow and Blue smaller than White? Yeah, they're big, but they're not as big as White Diamond.

I've always preferred this kind of portrayal of White Diamond. For me it would be more interesting if this is her personality, for others they want a 'savage monster' as put it. :)

Now imagine how she would react to learning she was holding Pink Diamond in her hand as she sang this.

This could raise many alarms. Because, what if the reason we haven't seen White Diamond yet is because maybe she's in a catatonic state where she sits in her palanquin mourning, so thusly Blue and Yellow must act as though she we're able to perform her duties. But, that's just my theory. Hopefully, we see her soon on the show. Otherwise, this is amazing. I could this developed into a full animation in the future. Keep up the awesome work.

The song totally matches white diamond so much. Since she is the mother of the diamonds. No. The mother of all gems.

Your animation is so spot on, I teared up a little at the part when White Diamond was running. Idk why it struck me so hard. Such wonderful work!

I wish they would add this as canon. The circumstances surrounding each event and scene in this are thought through and cleverly executed, explaining what’s happening and why through amazing art. Very well done, this is amazing! :D

Bridget E. PD didn't really mean to hurt her, she was being ignored by the other diamonds so she thought they didn't care. Yes, maybe she could have gone to white but she thought she wouldn't understand why she wanted to spare earth and that she'll hate her. So she staged the entire thing to protect earth and the life on it, even though she doesn't realize how much white really cared about her. This is basically like how a parent would let their children follow a childhood plan and when something happens, the child would think she let her mother down.

*White when she needs to see pink* "PEARL OPEN THE DOOR!" " *opens door immediately* " " *rushes over to her throne room and turns the communicater on* " "No..I'm too late!!"

Love it! White is exactly the opposite of what I pictured her to be, mysterious and cold-hearted. Congrats! Also, I love how you made Steven cry at the mention of "bond between mother and child" and him not knowing. Love all your vids!

I really like the throne room design. The mural on the back of her throne was awesome!!!! The other murals on the walls was also great.
