I'm very impressed. Your longfin may be old but they're still beautiful. I have 15 regular white clouds in my 15g fluval flex, with a male hmpk betta and 6 pygmy corys. Yours are so beautiful. I wish i could buy some because you have beautiful lines

I have a few older males and females in a 25 gallon . Only about 5 fry for the longest time. I can't produce many.

2:44, since they are the last of the breeding stock left for this line, this could be a good opportunity to breed for longevity too. So if these adults bred, by proxy, the offspring can be expected to live as long. Plus if they have lived for that long and still look decently good, they may be the healthiest of your bunch.

They live pretty long 5-6 year, but being breeder they get wear down alot quicker. I normally don't have any problems with this line.

Beautiful fish. How long have the Longfin whiteclouds lived for you? I have a school of them and they're about 3 yrs old. Still strong.

Jeez u got so many. Can I ask. I has as far as I know I have regular white cloud minnow. Is it OK to mix them with other types of Minnow like the golden u mentioned.? One last thing, if I see fry should I seperate them in a seperate tank? Some people say adults won't eat them, but some say they will. Can't find decent answers to those questions 😭🐠🐠🐠

It depend on your setup and # of breeder..I like to use 2 pair and they don't seem to bother the frys. Too many breeder will start a feeding frenzy. You can start pulling the fry when you see them, just make sure you feed the freeswimming fry. You can mix all white cloud, but the wild color is more dominant over the golden.

@@WhiteCloudDynasty that's great. So I'm good to mix some golden white cloud with regular then? I've no crazy set up, just a tank with only regular white cloud minnow in it and a spare tank if they happen to have any fry. Thanks for the reply

How many male and female do you have? Males normally like to put a spot for them and their female to spawn

I have my tank set up at 68 degrees and I have lots of Java moss but mine haven’t bred yet :(

plants sometime bring in hydra without you know and you won't be able to get any fry. I normally treat for that before I start a need breeding pair
