Why do the owners of these poor cats and dogs wait so long before they are taken to the vet, common sense should tell you something is wrong if their nose is getting bigger,if they have holes in them somewhere,if they have something in their eyes,it just doesn't make any sense to wait that long and the time they waste on taking them to the vet, the animals are suffering

Depending on where you live, there isnt a pet ER and appointments are hard to come by. My dog was throwing up blood and it took so long to be seen that she stopped. Turns out she ate a stick and had a BIG splinter in her throat.

Those things grow fast within few days so spotting them when their that big about only way First time I ever saw one thought it was a wound from bit till I got very close took me few seconds pull the cat was more hand full than the bug

A lot of those look like street cats so it's possible nice people brought them in. Could also be outside cats. If they spend more time outside then inside it would hard to notice it early. Then you still have to book an appointment, most vets don't do walk in's. Those larva can grow massive in days. I had to get some shots for my dog and the earliest appointment we could book was in 2 weeks.

Vets want money over helping animals.

Botfly larvae have rows of hooks on their bodies, that’s why removal of botflies are painful.

you remove the botfly

Use your ring finger and thumb on ringed instruments. You'll have much better control of your instrument.

If you eat a larva does it dy or live long in your bodt?
