how to get the top and console off on a WTW5010LW?
Cant get my top off. They make it so easy on their educational demo. Any advice for 1 that refuses to budge even forward on 1 side let alone up and back?

I had a problem too. Make sure the two screws on the upper back of the washer are removed (they apprear to be holding the control panel in place). Push the top towards the front of the unit. It should "slide" forward about an inch or so. From the front, lift the top up (it will stop and not lift off yet), and slide the top back. Make sure that you are lifting the front of the top up when you attempt to slide it back. As you do so, continue to lift up and it should lift off.

My best choice is to use a putty knife, or if the washer has screws, I would recommend using a power drill not a screwdriver. That way your hands don’t get tired.
I have this washer less than a year and the past few month it leaks from bottom left corner on occasion. It’s not every time . Having trouble getting them to send someone out to look .

WARNING! While top loading machines appear to be similar, Samsungs are not the same. The agitator nut removal is CLOCKWISE, not counter clockwise. I learned the hard way. Good video, just make sure you have the same brand of machine!…
