Why would the drain plug kill the board because ours shut down after i was cycling through diagnostics i was testing the water valve and i backed out and it went out after because it was still having errors after a repair

Hey there. The drain pump is part of the circuitry of the board and it’s known to take out the board. Imagine a loop that connects those two. If the loop is broken, it cannot continue carrying signal. Inspect the board visually and you may see where it has failed. It will be a white-ish spot. Thanks for watching!
