My power went off in the house for just a moment. My dryer light in the drum will come on but me unit power will not. When I press the power button it just makes a click sound once.

I have two codes on my whirlpool dryer E4 and F4. What does it mean, and how do I repair them?

I have same codes. What did you find out?

so i replaced my dyer motor and i replaced the main electronic control board, the old ECB would tell me the error was f4e4. Now with the new one when i go into diagnostic mode it says i have no error codes. When i try to do a diagnostic test like shown in the video it will not do the test. I press the quick button and it instantly shuts off, there like like a millisecond where i see the start button light up but it all instantly goes dark.

Mine is a WED7500GC0 THROWING AN F4 E4 CODE. Low or no line voltage had a maintenance guy come by the plug is putting out 200 volts so does that mean it not heating could be the thermal fuse it's stopping the heater from turning on and not drying.

​@pcoshealer7480 I'm having the same code F4 E4 did you ever figure out how to fix yours? Any advice I'd appreciate? I don't believe its a fuse and I tried unplugging the dryer.

Mine is throwing e4f4, and the drum light turns on every time I power on. But when I open and close the door, it behaves like normal from there. I tried a timed dry and it'll try to start (relay clicks) but the motor doesn't engage. So that's fun 😂

we all have the same problem but none of u came back to post the solution 🥹 Edit: if anyone in the future sees this thread, mine ended up being an issue with the thermostat preventing it to start. You’ll need the thermal cut off kit.

Is there a way to get moisture sensor reading through the display?

Maytag dryer model MGD7100DC0 showing code F6E2…but whenever I try looking this particular code it’s showing me Maytag washer. 🤷🏽‍♂️

My start button doesn’t stay on after the final step what does that mean?

what does air flow --- mean in diagnostic mode?

We ended up flipping the breaker to the dryer to reset. It worked.

PF code… anyone got a suggestion?

I also get E1 and F2 when I run diagnostics, but it won’t run the dryer to give me the health numbers. Gerr, both this set of dryer and washer has given me big problems.
