It really is athletic perfection ! I remember my lurcher going doolally the first time I took her with me fishing and she saw me holding a fish, zooming off is a understatement ! Greyhounds, lurchers and whippets are graceful and "tip toey" but over excited they can also be clumsy oafs crashing through anything in their path ! Either way I love the breeds to bits !

When whippets have zoomies, you’ll need a couple of acres!!! 😂

I have 3 and lemme tell u I don't have acres but da park in my neighborhood has hella space I take them 4 days outta da week last one I had gain'd weight ( he was fix'd too ) so I just make sure dat dis time I keep them nice and slim oh and don't leave ur door wide open 😂😂😂

Imagine being able to run that fast as a human. You would feel g-forces like you would in a fast car.

I love how they are both super excited but also gentle with each other. My dogs zoomies involve crashing around and flicking sofa cushions everywhere 😮

I used to love to run as a child, and as a young man! I am making a wheeled frame that I can run with and support my weight with my arms. Bad hips and knee and 4 disks, even if it needs a roof to hang from with a harness!

The smaller one is definitely a Whippet. The larger of the two, looks like a greyhound? They are happy!

As a dog owner myself who recently lost my dog this brought a smile to my face for the first time in a month thank you for sharing 👍

Harness that energy and we could power a city!

Eight years ago I rescued a puppy that was in a bad situation and she turned out to be a pitbull/ whippet mix. And she has become one of the most loving and sweet dogs I have ever shared my home with. She does these same moves every day when we go out to the open space to run the pack
