You hit the nail on the head. I was told I couldn’t cut it too. They were right! I can’t take coming to work n get paid for roughly 25% of my time.

Great video, bud. I cannot wait for the repair videos to start. I love working on cars and used to like working on my trucks in the military. Take care till next time.

Good for you bro , I know what your talking about , I've been driving for many years but not always OTR , I did a lot of local driving also . A big problem with truckers being treated like crap is because so many of them just accept it without putting up a fight at all . I think a lot of truckers would be so much happier if the industry paid then what their really worth instead hiring drivers from mongolia that can't speak english and have no friggin clue where their going or where they are . Im sure you watch the KZread guy Mark at Trucking Answers , he has the right idea about making things right and has the enough is enough attitude which I love about him . Maybe one day truckers will be paid what their really worth , who knows , good luck working on trucks , it sounds like your a happy man now .

I been driving 4 years, and have learned to see the bs coming from trucking companies. I am fortunate that I work for company with no forced dispatch, and that settles some of the bs. I turn a lot of stuff down, which my dispatchers hate. You know they love those short runs with few miles and live load or unload or both, well no thank you to that. Course they try and bargain and say well do it and we will give you a better load afterward, most the time I say, nope. They know damn good and well only people making money is the company and not the driver, so screw that. Anyway, you got some good vids, keep making them.

After my two weeks of training with XPO being a driver.... I quit, trucking there sucked, 14hrs average a day, dispatch don't care about you being tired, but there's plenty of driving jobs, linehaul, daily route, otr, bus driving. The toll of sitting for hrs and hrs as a driver takes a serious toll on your health, life span of a trucker is 61, 16 yrs shorter than average, back pain is 5x more likely with truckers

I don't call it complaining or whining, I call it calling out the bs. My response to habitual complainers/whiners is: "Why do you still work here, just quit".

Yes...the worst is, "He/she had no choice, they had to take a job driving for that shitty company." There is always a choice.

The opposite of whiners in trucking are company men. Company men allow the BS to continue when it comes to paying truckers fairly and with respect

when alot of people in the industry go against you and call it complaining, that means you are doing the right thing. if they choose mob mentality, you are pointing out true injustice.

I've only seen your more popular videos and I'm not a truck driver, but nothing I've seen suggests you are a "whiner" in the sense of a negative connotation. You're just a guy dealing with tough situations in a, frankly, unfair industry. Just my opinion.
