I didn't really expect to do a science experiment while travelling, but here we are.
While crossing the equator in Kenya, we stopped at a roadside shop where some enterprising locals demonstrate the Coriolis Effect in exchange for a tip. Is it a scientifically accurate experiment conducted in a controlled environment? Of course not! The Coriolis Effect is real, but does a bowl with a hole drilled on the bottom prove it? I don't know, but I do know it was entertaining!
