I got a hobby box and pulled a gold wave Hunter Green rookie /50 and a purple speckle auto of Royce Lewis in my hobby box and my LCS did not have bent cards. That’s from how they were stored, not how they come from Topps!

My dad bought me the 2019 Topps Chrome Jumbo Box for 225 Bucks on Christmas, and now it’s worth over 2000 dollars

Hobby Lite because that's all I can afford 😆

Prizm baseball is where it's at 140 bucks for 3 guaranteed autos I actually pulled 6 autos out of 1 box

I had a bunch really bad off centered also

You lucked out and got the three Matt Olson SP boxes. Way to beat the odds! Hahaha

Iv opened 6 hobby boxes with nothing special..smh..makes me think these packs aren't so random..auto cards are always on top packs..87 throwbacks are on bottom if box along with other inserts..got me thinking something is up

Agree with you. With 2 hobbies vs. 1 jumbo, you'll get one less auto but more packs and parallels. You're going to need a phonebook to flatten out those cards. lol

i got a wander rookie signature booklet '#/5 in a redemption from panini absolute... i couldn't resist not redeeming it. what are the chances I actually get it you think? Im terrified lol i want it so bad. not to mention I heard long after that he doesn't sign for panini (at least not yet) is that true? if so what is the point of teasing me with his auto booklet panini

30:13 Wander Franco RC during the recap Packman, you should also look into buying Julio Rodriguez's Bowman 2019 1st prospect oncard autograph since he will most likely win rookie of the year. And if you want, buy a box of 2009 Bowman Draft because on that box everyone is chasing a 2009 Mike Trout 1st prospect oncard autograph. I mean that box is expensive but you can buy it then store it away and sell it in 5-10 years. Add baseball in the mix when purchasing and opening packs and boxes. But I'm looking forward to seeing you purchase and open Bowman Chrome, Bowman to chase the prospect oncard autographs. As well as you purchasing high end baseball singles

From all the openings I've seen so far, it seems a lot of Orioles and Nationals rookie autos are being pulled.

I opened a bunch of Topps Series 1 retail and pulled an ultra short print SSSP Dasby Swanson. The odds of pulling one of those were one out of every 30,000 jumbo packs! Not sure what the odds are pulling those Chrome rookies are but if it's anything like that I'm not surprised you haven't seen very many

love the design. Topps chrome is one of my favorites. probably just going to buy singles of the ones I want tho. these prices are insane.

Chrome in general is great I just prefer bowman chrome cuz I love the bowman chrome 1st cards, but my luck with those boxes is horrible

If I were you I would put everything away for five years don’t even look at it five years later you’re gonna open your box and you’re going to find cards that are worth hundreds of dollars baseball is very unpredictable sometimes the players that you least expect to be popular pick up momentum and their cards skyrocket in value and honestly you never know which one is going to be the best one

After watching these videos, I'm not buying any Hobby. Last night I hit a restock at Walmart and purchased 8 blasters.....let me tell u retail is loaded!!!! I got a redemption, a refractor auto/199, 9 color/numbered cards. Wander and Cruz pinks AND sepia. Absolutely loaded!!!! Check it out PAC!!!

I like the jumbo it is pricey but you are getting 5 autographs on the Topps Chrome Jumbo. Hey Packman, I hope you got my advice on what to buy for baseball (for 1st oncard prospect cards and rookie cards) and hockey cards (SP authentic Future Watch Autos). Just today I got my Cale Maker FWA oncard autograph PSA 8 in the mail (hockey rookie oncard autograph) via FedEx for my personal collection.

What’s your thoughts on investing in trey lance packman?

I like chrome but its priced to high for me this year. Hopefully next year they learn there lesson

As ridiculous as it may sound just search around on Reddit if you would like to read about the state of the hobby, what’s hot, etc. or on KZread. There are a lot of options, depending on sport, on KZread that give great insight into who the players you’re looking for, price point, the difference between high end and low end products, how to not get taken advantage of (on eBay or similar platforms and in person), etc. If you’re trying to buy product to open or singles of certain players, look to see if you have a card shop near you. Or if there are any card shows in your local area. eBay is a good place for singles but not as good for unopened boxes and packs (cuz there are a TON of scammy things people can do with unopened product). Good luck!

I think jumbo overall has had better pulls this year

Really like Topps Chrome but this year seems rough. For the price I expect a little bit more. Topps basically doubled the price from last year which I get because of the rookie quality but they didn’t do much to justify the price increase other than add another auto which is meh. Still will try to pick up some singles and blasters to rip for fun.

The rookie quality isn't very good though. They left too many good rookies off the base checklist. Update will be good though. Tork, Witt, JRod, Pena. Plus debuts of Wander, Cruz, etc.

I'd go second hand then pay this much for low end pitchers for the most part.

Loving the baseball on the channel and I can’t say I have opened much jumbo normally stick with hobby. I do like extra autos but it’s tough getting something good. I have opened 3 hobby boxes so far no short print to report and autos were nothing great

The bend was only on hobby. Jumbo looked ok

I wonder since the SP "extended set" rookies aren't in hobby, the value of retail will skyrocket since they all got shoved into retail from Topps' logistical error

The fact they aren’t even putting in the SP rookies like Julio and Bobby Witt is disgusting. That’s the whole chase. Not one single SP has been pulled other than serial numbered autos. It’s quite sad. Expect the price of these to drop RAPIDLY and by a lot within the next month

Everyone you post a baseball card opening I'll definitely comment on that video. So more please. And jumbo seems to be better for autos.

To me I've seen more hits come out of regular hobby than jumbo but the prices that they're charging are still way too much for what you get Normal people like us can't afford what they're charging with fanatics I thought the prices would go down but Apparently this hobby is all about the breakers now not the regular hobby collectors. I'm still waiting for a Wander Franco auto /99 and Juilo Rodriguez auto /199 redemption they are getting as bad as Panini with redemptions!!!

gimme jumbo all day

Ive always done better with the jumbo to be honest. Especially with the autos at least you get 1 really good one out of the 5 per box. I mean a jumbo box is still technically a hobby box as well and I am pretty sure the pack odds remain the same.

I go jumbo but I just buy packs not boxes.

I like the hobby boxes but 300 is steep
