    Hey Mark, thanks for checking out our videos! I think anyone that tries to ride an XTrainer more aggressively will be disappointed in the way the suspension handles, the goal for this bike is slower technical trails/ beginner riders. To give you an exact gear I would say anything over 3rd gear with an aggressive attack would probably be to much for the suspension. For the guy clicking through 3rd gear just cruising the trails will enjoy the bike. Hope that helps! Enjoy the ride, Jared

    Good Morning, thanks for watching our videos! Beta did change a few things for 2022 just depends on what model you are looking at. The 250/300 engines got new diaphram clutches. The 300cc 2-stroke has a new motor layout. Some of the Race Editions got some upgrades: The 4-Stroke race editions now have traction control and the 2-Stroke 200 has a slightly different engine than the standard 200 RR.

    Just curious about your comment "...if you do live in a state where you can put this on the road..." Don't all Betas come with a register-able MC title? So why would the state matter if it comes with an MC title from the factory and not an off road use only title like the Japanese brands?

    Good Afternoon, the Certificate Of Origin is lettered in a way that allows customers in certain states BUT it is not always about what the Certificate Of Origin says... If the bike does not pass the vin # check at the DMV in their computer system then it will not pass as street legal. NONE of the 2-strokes pass the governments computer system but not all states check that. Enjoy the ride, Jared

    Lucci Real Estate , hope I can also help. Yes, most if not all Japanese COO's will read "FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY" for their dirt bikes. So of course most states will not allow you to plate one. But all 50 states vary. Now, most Euro makers like KTM and Beta will not print that, meaning in MN, you can buy a Beta and the dealer will plate and title for you via the DMV! Insane, right and MN is a super Liberal state. Here in WI, though, if you buy a KTM or Beta, you roll the dice on a title. You go to the DMV personally, here, and pray. Remember, though, these bikes have short gearing, and unbalanced knobbies, so you'll want to live pretty close to the trails!

  • @motolucci46

    @motolucci46

    @@captainamerica9353 That's how it is here in PA. As long as you buy the bike new from a dealer (previously untitled), any KTM can be given a plate and be made road legal. I just bought a Beta Xtrainer 300 and same thing. Didn't realize that other states have different rules, thought it was just based on the title. The purpose of plating a bike like that for me is not to go any great distance on the road. I have other bikes for that. Its simply to connect trails within a mile or so on road legally so you don't get hassled. Also to to be able to ride right from my house so I don't have to load up the bike on the truck and then park it somewhere. Cheers.

    @@motolucci46 , amazing that PA is that easy! And it's one of the most Liberal states in the country, like CA, WA, OR, MN, MI, NY, etc. You'd think those states would never allow a 2 stroke to get titled, and I believe there's a character in the VIN, like Jared mentioned that screws people in states like NY. I got lucky here in WI, titling my XT. In the process of going to a 15T front and balancing the wheels since I'm a few miles from the trails.

Mirrors and a plate bracket, no big deal. But I'm 5' 11" and 185 and it's winding pretty high at 55 - 60 mph, though barely broken in. Am going to try a 15T front and balancing the wheels, but can't ride until April!! If you're gonna ride 10 miles or more at highway speeds, I'd suggest the rr for more street power.
