I only go to my local greedwills on $1.79 day since they're completely out of their minds with their pricing. I used to find A LOT of good stuff but now i think they pull it to send it to their online stores. I still manage to find stuff that slips by or they don't recognize or no one picked up because it was priced at $30 lol. By far the bins is my favorite because i do find great stuff and i'm not gonna lie, I like to be up to my elbows in people's garbage.

Haha that’s a good point! I think more good stuff is going to the bins because the prices are too high at the stores. It might make my bins more worthwhile

Love finding Mugsy jeans. Usually arent priced higher at thrift stores since not too many know about them. I ended up keeping a pair for myself too as they are pretty comfy jeans. Lol. Nice haul from all types of stores.

this video is perfect timing ! so far I've just been selling things while cleaning my parents basement, but I wanted to try thrifting to resell, but goodwill seems like the big leagues so my plan is to go to a nearby animal rescue thrift store. I feel like if anyone else in my town thrifts and resells, they would overlook this store, so maybe it has lots of gems!

Really enjoyed this video and have wondered the topic myself as a new reseller who's unsure of where and how to spend my limited time. I think with your expertise, your time is best spent at the local thrift where you got the most items, but may be fun to keep experimenting. We have that same thrift chain in the Dayton area, but I currently find it overwhelming as I still have to look everything up and am unsure whether the buy cost will yield decent profit margins. It's frustrating though as I have limited time to source with 4 kids and I know it's where the good items are - Goodwill seems to be working best for me right now and I'm gradually working up to the local thrift a few times a month.

Yea it is an overwhelming store for sure. As you gain more confidence it can get easier. If goodwills are working for you then keep building there 👍🏼👍🏼

I think the logo on the Adidas jacket is Warrensville Heights High School in Cleveland.

You can get ink stains out with hairspray. Just spray, scrub and throw in the wash.

I actually sprayed it with shout and washed it and they came out!

What do you do if you buy something that you find later has a flaw. I don't think you can return stuff at thrift store but what if that item with its flaw doesnt sell

Some thrifts will let you return. If you can’t return it, some items are worth enough they can sell with a flaw. If it’s not worth selling I just try to donate it to a place that can use it. Everyone misses flaws when sourcing

I say sell the scrubs as a bundle. People who wear scrubs tend to buy in bulk

When something says Dry clean, only what do you do wash or not wash? I would think the Silk Tommy Bahama would be dry clean only . TY.

odd question: do you sell mens clothes because you can sell them well? or because you wear mens clothes. ... meaning, I'm a girl, should I be trying to find girls clothes to resell or do mens clothes sell better than womens on ebay? (I'm leaning in the direction to sell mens clothes)

Both categories can do very well on eBay. I prefer men’s clothes because I know them better, less returns, and easier to photograph and measure. It doesn’t matter what gender you are to resell men’s clothing.

before even watching the video, I'm betting goodwill is the most expensive!! atleast by me they are selling for ebay prices. $10 polo $15 hoodies and this is all used stuff already. yikes.

My local thrift prices are higher than goodwill but I find better stuff there.

I don’t like the feeling of desperation the bins give off. It’s seems to bring out a certain crowd
