If there was some sort of character that left the party at around 50% HP by the end of the rotation but gained massive party buffs upon the party being healed extensively, I bet that would really give Jean a glow-up because you could enter a rotation at 50% and pop her burst to (more or less) heal the party to full. Wonder if we'll see a character like that :D

There’s actually a really good and fun Dehya team that I don’t see talked about very often, it’s a burning/air fryer team with her, Nahida, and a VV user (Sucrose, Venti or Kazuha). I know burning is basically a joke but this team actually carried me all the way through the 4.1 Spiral abyss. Highly recommend.

You can add Kuki as you need a healer with this team for everyone not named Dehya as they will be taking large amounts burn damage Dehya self heals and provides interpretation resistance with damage mitigation (redirection) she also applies pyro but the characters you want to trigger burn is Nahida or the anemo unit (like Kazuha) so Dehya can the on-field driver for the team while providing some damage recommend having lots of er on her in that team.

For Keqing, her E has a duration that's long enough to almost achieve a permanent Electro-charged Auto Attack rotation. With the addition of Dendro characters, you can essentially maintain a continuous burst rotation. You start by using your E, then follow it up with Auto Attacks until its duration expires. During the approximately 2-second cooldown before you can use E again, you can use your Elemental Burst. It's not a bad strategy overall. Additionally, it's not necessary to rely on Zhongli and Nahida to make it work; characters like Collei and an Anemo character can also be effective in this setup

My team currently is Keqing, Yelan, Collei, and Kokomi, Keqing is goaded, I want Tighnari though, hed be either replacing Collei, or added to a abyss team, Keqing is amazing is the moral here

Thundering fury on keqing is basically 100% uptime electro infusion

i've been playing tighnari for almost a year and i can confidently say, he is THE ABSOLUTE BEST standard 5*, i'm just amazed how nice it feels playing tighnari spread not just in abyss but anywhere!! he literally erases all the bosses if you pair him up with nahida/collei, kuki/fischl and kokomi keqing is nice too, but tighnari's playstyle is just more fun

Tighnari quickswap is the best thing about him, you can just e->CA->burst->CA x2 and then just swap to other character while wait for his e cooldown. I agree with your statement about him being the best standart character

thats the same team i use for the abyss for tig (nahida,kuki,tighnari and kokomi) i never had energy issue nor cooldown issue with this team my tig has a crit ratio of 180:45 with 300+ em and it increases with nahida's burst along with that the dendro resonance is a great help

For most accounts keqing is significantly better, for anyone with furina, jean is the best standard, for anyone that uses freeze, Mona is. Tighnari is only decent if you happen to have yae and want to run nahida on the other side, but even then, he's the most replaceable member, often for better results.

One correction-Tighnari's personal damage as a dps is so frontloaded that you can easily rotate to your other team members, even without nahida on the party. His best teammates in terms of 4 stars are kuki and fischl, while being really good without a yae miko since his field time requirements being extremely low you have time to set up most of your combos before needing to go back to tighnari just in time for those three charged shots He also isn't good at aoe but is nuts in ST-making him really good with baizhu as well-Baizhu, Yae Miko, Fischl, tighnari is probably one of his best team comps at the moment, not to mention he doesn't need attack but rather double dips on EM and also has a lot of f2p options. Over all, he's very much worth it to build even without the three 5 stars I've mentioned, as even Beidou works well with him if c4 kuki is not available

His best and only team is aggravate with yae fischl kazuha, where he's the most replaceable member. His own personal dmg even if you go out of your way to buff him with nahida isn't anything special, sure its frontloaded and he can run Fischl and yae both of which will do more dmg than him by far, but if you replace him for a defensive option like baizhu or kirara team dps wont really change much. Without yae he really isn't worth considering.

I would argue for a new player, the best to build standard banner character is Mona, Tigharni or Keqing. I say this because there are free open world weapons that can give them crit rate/crit dmg. Crit rate and crit dmg stats don’t show up as often early game unless you’re incredibly lucky. Keqing gives herself crit rate after using her brust. For support literally Qiqi or Jean, or even Dehya if you wanna stick with Barbara. If the argument was for “long” term investment, I would say Keqing. Easiest to build and gives a lot of dmg with aggravate.

​@jjillalalac2487 Mona was my first five star and yeah I didn't really know exactly how to use her at first. I mainly just used her to apply hydro to freeze but eventually I gave her 4pc noblesse and leveled her burst and now she is pretty strong lol.

long term investment is ABSOLUTELY Tighnari Keqing has top-tier competition that is really easy to use as electro dps, while Tighnari's only DPS competition is Alhaitham, who is pretty hard to use

@@Cherie_nby definitely have to agree. I do also like that there are accessible 3 star weapons that help with dmg such as slingless for that charged attack bonus and crit rate main stat. Also that other bow I can’t remember the name that gives Crit dmg main stat. There is also an early artifact that gives you free 30% crit rate when you do a charged attack.

At the endgame, I'd say build everyone. That way, every 50/50 loss and constallation added doesn't really feel as a loss anymore. I've personally built everyone except Tighnari as I don't have him. Meta can only get you so far and I personally like getting characters to play different types of gameplay. Atm I have Keqing C4, Diluc C2, Mona C2, Qiqi C1, Jean C0, and Dehya C0. Whenever Tighnari comes home, I'll build him as well.

Totally agree!!! I also builded all of them and I'm having a lot of fun! I already can 36* the abyss so I'm using my resin to build and try new characters, which in my opinion is the best way to play a gacha game with different and unique characters.

Dilucs ability to break Geo, Cryo, electro and even sometimes hydro shields are really underlooked. Hes comfortable to use. hes also flexible, not tied with skill long cooldowns. Hes a Must for early game peoples. He carried me hard from early game till AR 45, and still do now at AR 59 :)

Baizhu fits very well into Keqing aggravate comps for the con you pointed out with stamina and less efficient dodge. For the QoL i am going to pulling him in 4.2 for Keqing/Fischl/Baizhu/Kazuha

Correction, in aggravate Keqing has 100% infusion uptime through TF, she aplies a lot of electro and procs a lot of aggravates E-Q-E+ some CA's wich aren't that mendatory anymore as she she is quick-swap

I personally think a lot of these 50/50 characters are still worth building. Tighnari, Mona, Jean and Keqing in my opinion are worth it with the current meta right now, especially with Dendro which makes Mona and Keqing more viable in teams such as Hyperbloom, Aggravate and Bloom. Jean is still a solid healer and works well with Bennett in a sunfie team and Tighnari being the best Dendro DPS if Alhaitham or Nahida are not unlocked. I still think Diluc is fine if Hu Tao isn't unlocked but Xiangling as you said is way better and more F2P friendly. Dehya and Qiqi to me at least are not that useful but still are ok to use for players if they know how to use them correctly. These are my honest thoughts on the 50/50 characters. I am still missing Mona and Qiqi but hopefully I can get either for the collection, but mainly Mona for the dmg she can provide.

Dehya is actually so good now with Fontaine Characters. Like Lyney, Neuvilette and Wriothesley. Even with the upcoming Archon, Furina, Dehya is actually good for her team.

Dehya is a great character to build if you have Nuevillette, Lyney or Ganyu but you don't want to pull Zhongli. If you are in that kind of situation she's worth building because why spend your primos on Zhongli

Diluc is highly underrated, especially since his burst cost is the lowest 40 and even gives a full screen knockback for all smaller enemies. Also, lets not forget that he's supposed to be charged attack main which does deal a lot of damage with basically no stamina cost.

That knockback effect is more of a negative lmao, and no he's not a ca dps, most of his dmg comes from his autos and Es, his autos have decent scaling, but his Es are terrible, which just adds to him underperforming. If you can do dragonstrike, then by all means, sure, he's underrated, but not everyone can, its not always possible to do, and you specified he was a "ca dps".

Diluc was my first 5-star character that I got from the Standard Banner. I'll continue wishing from that banner(without using primogems) and hopefully I'll get my hands on Wolf's Gravestone. I been aftering that weapon, since I got him.

A note about Keqing’s electro infusion: If you run her with Thundering Fury in an aggravate team, not only will the aggravate damage be buffed by TF 4pc but the skill cd reduction also lets her maintain permanent uptime on her infusion.

As a Diluc main and a long time Diluc fan, I can understand all the points you put forward against building Diluc and they are all really good points. It's still a little depressing to hear the recommendation to not build him though... I love my funky little Winery owner so much, he's still the only character on my account who is triple crowned. Thank you for the video though, I found the other parts interesting, and learned something new about Keqing today (I had NO IDEA a charged attack will explode the stilletto and I had her as my only electro DPS a long time - she's even level 90 on my account!). Building characters we like is always more worth it than meta or stronger because if u dont like someones playstyle the game starts feeling like a chore. For me i abandoned an account just because i didn't have any characters i like and there is so much fighting in the game. So yup, diluc is totally fine if u love him❤

Sometimes I feel a little discouraged because so many people point out that Luc is actually not that great anymore, so when I'm playing in coop I generally don't bring him out anymore to avoid the inevitable "why are you playing Diluc in 2023, he's not good anymore" but mine is pretty strong. OK fine he doesn't beat Alhaitham and Neuvillette, but I have the most fun playing him over Alhaitham and Neuvillette.

I suggest not watching too many videos like this too because they really don't get it in my opinion the way theyre formated is just. Uncomfortable to me 😭 I dislike a lot of the strongest current meta characters so I dont pull for them and probably won't ever (like furina, neuvilette, alheaitham...)

Keqing and Tighnari are two of my favorite characters. Keqing was my first ever 5 star and she’s my main. I’ve done so much work on her, she’s amazing!

Diluc is one of the rare ones that is still comfortable to use despite being a claymore user and he is one of the few that can benefit from c6 bennet

3:46 That's not a con, that's a balancing feature shared among literally every Electro character. Aggravate with its current scaling would be way overpowered if you could trigger it with every hit on every enemy. 7:09 Sayu, Mika, and soon Charlotte: **disintegrates**

Thank you!! + In my opinion, Dehya is becoming better and better with every new character, and Qiqi will shine very soon with Furina and (leaks) the new artifact set in 4.3, Qiqi has always been the best healer in term of healing, can't wait for her to be one of the best healers in term of meta

While I do agree that Qiqi isn't a must build, the reason for that is NOT her healing. Qiqi has no healing downtime AT ALL, her uptime is 100%, skill for 15s, then burst for 15. Also, you don't need to use her on-field to fully heal your team fast, just put her mark by using either her burst or A4 talent, then do your normal rotation. Not to mention that Qiqi's healing is the highest sustained healing in the whole game (yes, not Kokomi). What makes Qiqi not that great is that she overheals but doesn't provide other buffs/application, which makes some other healers more preferred. Eventho, she's WAAAAAAAAY better than what people say about her. Qiqi is the best Clam set user, she can get the max dmg (~30k every 3s) pretty easily, and she's a top tier driver for hyperfridge teams and a great driver overall, she's the best co-op healer, and she can fit in almost every team in the game since she doesn't ruin any reaction. So, how good/bad she is? She's decent, if you build/use her she will do a great job, but she won't provide as much as some other supports (as for 4.1), but that won't last for so long. :) Leaks for 4.2 and 4.3: Furina will most likely be a HUGE buff for Qiqi and the healers in general, and there's a new artifact set coming in 4.3 that buffs the teams based on the overheal, if the buff is high enough and it works well with the sustained high healing, I wouldn't be surprised if Qiqi becomes top Meta unit since her healing is BY FAR the best, let's wait and see.

They really did dehya dirty, thats a freaking low scaling for 5 star character..... I know she have a niche survivor kit but damn at least make her skill damage tick a little lower of albedo E ...... She is good to proc burgeon but its not consistent and depend of enemie size.....

@@shadecross451 That actually sounds like a great team! Diluc for the dmg. Furina for the insane buff, dmg, and hydro application. Venti for VV shred, crowd control, dmg, energy, and more application. And Qiqi for her insane healing that Furina needs, and either Clam set for more dmg or the new 4.3 set for more buff. . For Dehya, I agree, they could've made her at least decent, I wish her kit was like Fu xuan from Star rail (a tank with 100% uptime who can heal the team and buff their crit rate). But I feel like hoyo know what they're doing, she was more of a future proof, and she will hopefully become better and better!

Jean’s stocks will shoot through the roof once we get to 4.2. She and Baizhu are 2 of the best healers to be paired with a certain buffing queen released soon ❤

Agree! Mona & Jean have fringe use cases, potentially less fringe for Jean in the near future. My policy on DPS is mostly just build the ones you enjoy. But of course if you're comparing Tighnari to AlHaitham, Keqing to Yae Miko or Diluc to Xiangling, there's certainly a gap power wise. Small correction on Jean. She effectively has a 64 cost burst because of her passive. And Mika is worth a mention among characters who heal the team in one go!

Keqing can get 100% uptime electro infusion if she use thundering fury, she work really good at aggravate and hyperbloom team (i recommend hyperbloom more than aggravate), thundering fury might not be the best option for hyperbloom but it allow more consistent DPS, keqing fast NA really give her advantage over most of electro character at applying electro for hyperbloom

My opinion 1. Mona (Versatile support, quite useful for Permafrost Teams) 2. Jean ( because of his synergy with Furina) 3. Tighnari (Basically because it is a dendro DPS, a pretty good one, and in my opinion, the best of the standard banner) 4. Kequing (with dendro) 5. Diluc (Sorry Batman, but you stopped being meta a long time ago, however it is still a decent DPS, however VERY LOWER, than Tighnari and Kequing in my opinion) 6. Dehya (Dehya, You have a good “design”, and your animations are good… however, your Skill Kit and artifact set… I better not want to talk about your synergy) 7. Qiqi (She's not really a bad character... however, in my opinion, there are many other characters that do the same as Qiqi, but better, such as Diona, being only a 4 star, I would even say that Charlotte is currently better than Qiqi)

About Tighnari being a driver for Nahida and Raiden, that is incorrect. Any character in the game that deals damage can drive Nahida and Raiden skills. He is though good a Fischl 'driver' along with keqing, who deal reactions quickly to activate fischls passive talent DMG You are also forgetting, keqing is best as a *quickswap* DMG dealer. Her infusion being only 5s is not a problem, and a big portion of her DMG is from her burst, which has a HUGE radius

Another character that heals the party in one go is Mika. Since this video does not include leaks, then I just say that Jean here may still change value.

Jean is worth building she was my 1st 5 star and i still use her with my hu tao

Great vid 🙂 I just have to say, my Tighnari is by accident c6 now. I have build him before already but just enough to use him. Once I get his c6 I decided to get him on max + 3crown. He don't dissapointed me after all! On c6 his charged atk is so extremly fast and his E is always up. So, I usualy didn't even need Nahida to put out a great ammount of dmg 😁

For Keqing's infusion downtime and stamina issues - just use thindering fury

if i look for guide on standard banner 5stars pls dont make team with 3 event banner 5stars 😭 uf i had raiden i would use ger not tighnari

Keqing got buffed massively when dendro came. And tighnari is probably the most powerful 5 star in the standaard banner. Also keep in mind that these are the characters you will C6 the fastest as a F2P player.

So far, I haven't regretted building Diluc. He's been my go-to character in spiral abyss. He is so flexible and can easily adapt to different teams.

I've never found a use for Diluc. Was very happy to get Keqing back in 1.0 and she's still fun to use now. Just got C6 Mona but I've never been interested in Nuke setups. Jean and Qiqi will shine soon.

You got her C6, which means her burst(Omen) can give up to 60% DMG buff. She can also hold the "Thrilling Tales". She's not just a nuke set-up, so you should definitely check her out when you can!

The only standard banner 5* I don't have is Diluc. I use Tighnari the most, but I've been using Jean in a sunfire/mining team lately. You didn't mention that Tighnari's E-skill also causes taunt/distraction to enemies that are either in, or pass through the field, which is a great defensive move against everything. I'm currently using Tighnari in a team with Nahida, Raiden, and Kokomi, which results in a LOT of Hyperbloom/Aggravate/Spread. Tigh and Koko share the DPS role.

damn same i am using the same team but i use kuki c2 instead of raiden and koko keeps my kuki alive in the abyss. my tig hits solid 20k per spread charge which is like killing enemies like butter

Tighnari is the strongest standard banner character imo

Tighnari damage is actually pretty bad in nahida raiden spread team, considering you need 2 limited 5 star characters. Tighnari( troupe) , sucrose (kazuha)(vv) , bennett(emblem) , diluc (dehya/yanfei)(crimson) is a very good permanent burn team. (Don't underestimate burn reaction)

My tighnari is pretty solidly built, but I don't have anyone to hold DWM, or else my 15-18k crits could be hitting much harder. Perma burning hard carried my run against the seahorse in abyss, since you can constantly get burning procs off of the residual pyro aura. I don't have any tighnari cons yet, so each buffed CA only procs once, but I can break the shield in 3-5 CAs. I just don't have enough EM pieces to make a viable hyperbloom build unless I forgo and set bonuses for my kuki. And with no viable pyro DPS, the hydro phantasms tanked my abyss performance 😢.

@@otsdarvafoxxfyre Just have tighnari hold 600-650 EM, perma burn hits 3k+ dot and bloom hits 14k+(not hyperbloom or burgeon, only auto explosions), which is enough for hydro phantasms (if u use all 3 CA together when phantasm loads water hose)

My tignahri runs 4 star teams and destroys everything , burst and normal attck crowned. Tignari fiscl sucrose yao yao . His CA attack does 12 k -15 k damage .

I've triple crowned and got the skin for my Keqing 💜. Also Tighnari is pretty good in spread/quicken teams

I use Tighnari with Lisa, Fischl, and Baizhu. Definitely worth building!

Tighnari, Jean, Mona are the only ones i want as many constellations as possible. Especially C4 Jean or whatever the super good constellation of hers is.

Good video, but there are some things you might missed: Jean: -Upon using her charge attack, she launches enemies upwards for a period of time. This isn't that useful, but it can be fun -When Jean's normal attack hit an enemy, she will heal all characters by 15% of her attack. -Just by using her elemental burst, she recovers 20% of energy, reducing (but not fixing) her energy issues. Qiqi: -Both her elemental skikl and burst gives no energy, so she has some serious energy issues. Dehya: -The damage mitigation only last for 9 seconds, not the whole field duration. Ans this is shared across both her elemental skill and burst. Worst of all is that this state has an internal cooldown of 18 seconds -She recovers hp upon reaching 40%hp or less, but can happend once every 20 seconds -She can die off-field thanks to her Fiery Sanctum. I'm not kidding. -Dashing or jumping cancels her burst.

Considering that all characters are at C0R1, my objective list would be: Tighnari Keqing Mona (for her omen buff) Diluc Jean (before you guys start shouting at me for having Jean so low on the list, I think she's good with constellations, at C0 she's good with sunfire and I haven't really gotten around playing with it) Qiqi/Dehya But at the end if the day it's definitely upto people's personal choice of course. My Diluc is triple crowned and my Tighnari is double crowned, I do have all others at 70 and ascended too (yes, including Qiqi).

Keqing is definitely better than tighnari for most accounts, jean should by no means be under diluc, and now with furina (i understand this was done before her release) she's arguably the best standard. Mona can be the best pick up if you have and use ganyu or ayaka too. Tighnari is only decent if you also have yae.

@@fzhs7030 yea, this was made before Furina released, even before Furina I might've put her above Diluc even at C0 if I played with her a bit more I'm guessing, I don't really know. Now I'd totally put her alongside Keqing or Tighnari. Why would Keqing than Tighnari though? Edit: the question is genuinely curious, apologies if it came across as offensive. Ah I missed the last line. As someone who plays Tighnari very frequently and has decent build on him, he doesn't need Yae at all. I don't have Yae. I either pair him up with Fischl or Kuki and he works totally fine. Yae might work better but he's not decent only if Yae is his teammate.

@@boba8424 a keqing aggravate team with fischl dendro mc and sucrose will outperform any tighnari team you can make without yae, not only that, but keqing has higher personal output since she can abuse vv, very good aoe, and can drive fischl's a4. By using tighnari with fischl, you lose out on a4 procs during his field time. A yae fischl kazuha tighnari team will outperform keqing's in st, however in the end the most replacable member is tighnari, since he can be swapped out for nahida for better results in both st and aoe, or a defensive option

I would actually love to pull a Jean right now. I always loved her, and now with Furina she's better than ever.

for tighnari , he is definitely worth building , even without nahida , i have nahida but i use yaoyao with him ( C1 ) to do more consistent damage and 100% uptime healing , as she gives 15% dendro damage bonus , and with raiden as she buffs his burst and allow him to proc reactions from a distance , and zhongli of course but you can use layla or kirara if you like , he does around 50k ~ 60k total damge per charge attack , i have him on 60/150 crit 1300 atk 200 em , with ibis piercer ( event ) but i would like amos bow or skyward but if you don't have either of these you can use hamayumi ou slingshot

I built Keqing when I started the game and my God her stocks rose like hell when dendro came out and for good reason. I also have a fully built Tighnari at C3 (don't ask) and he is a really good DPS

I'm a new f2p player and only have few chars due to my early saving. I have only 2 5* so hopefully I can make them both work together. Furina, Tighnari, Lisa and Charlotte. This team's still in progress as I'm slowly building them up. Oh and, I hope Raiden comes home in her upcoming reroll, I have enough primos for 50/50🤤 If I lose 50/50, Imma save for Nahida's reroll.

To put into perspective, Mona's omen buff at lv6 gave me a slighty better general dps boost than xingqiu's rainswords at lv8 and that's not even including the damage from her own burst explosions. I never would've thought that random pulls from the standard banner using battle pass rewards could work out this well for me. As for cons: it took me a bit of time before adjusting to her weird dash mechanics. Fortunately, she probably has one of the quickest E to Q animations out of all the characters in the roster so keeping her safe off-field is actually pretty easy.

Tip for the Dehya: She's probably the only character that can use the bell, it makes her support defensive build very worth it

I am beginner in Genshin and I just lost my first 50/50 to jean

They should add a 50 summon guaranteed standard 5 star banner for new players to in addition to the noelle. They did it in star rail so why not here? It would be great for a new player.

I'm tired of this misinformation spread around Keqing playstyle. Seems like they are still stuck in 1.0 Keqing. You don't charge atk to oblivion with Keqing. If you are charge attacking with Keqing till her stamina runs out, you are literally losing out on dmg and not playing optimally or doing a bad rotation. You only do charge atk with Keqing 2-3 times each rotation (most of her team rotation is 12-15 secs depending on teammates). Thundering fury set literally shortens E cooldown for Keqing which makes her electro infusion infinite. Like c'mon is it so hard to learn this much?

Yeah... Why is Keqing done wrong to everyone so badly about gameplays and power? As I don't ever seeing Keqing's recent guides at all. Because... I would be bored if Keqing meant to be only playing with aggravate because Fischl has a better artifact set. I just wants Keqing can play with Quickbloom/Hyperbloom to catching up the META team comps.

I have all the standard 5 star except tighnari and my favorite is dehya since i main her. Either than her I mostly used Diluc hes smooth to use very mobile compared to xiangling or klee which is very clunky to control. Claymore can break shield easly and use to break rocks/ores. Keqing got a glowup with dendro. Jean and Qiqi is now useful with fontaine chars. Mona is the most least char I use since i have so many character can buff dmg. I dont have tighnari.

Update: If you're playing Furina, Jean is easily one of her best teammates.

Good video, i agree with most things you said, but not with all. I do think you kinda missed the mark with what you discussed in general. If you started Genshin and progressing through the game you aren’t (mostly) interested in the Abyss meta. You did say that Diluc, Keqing and Tighnari arent the best damage dealers. But technically any character can clear the story line. Maybe the approach of: Which characters synergies best with this character and are those other characters easily available. Are the weapons they can use easy to farm for. Can you level them up easily. A diluc might really enjoy double hydro, however that is not very achievable in the beginning of the game. However he is a monstadt character so he is easier to level up. Tighnari works great with fishl, Lisa and Sucrose to name a few. However unless you wanna walk all the way to sumeru, its quite a challange to level him up. As you showed in the background a Mona, Raiden, Sara, Bennett one shot team. Its strong, but early players wont have excess to inazuma for a bit, making the team quite impossible. Keqing can use lions roar Diluc can use blood tainted greatsword Tightnari can use……. Stringless? Slingshot? Are those easily farmable for beginners? Maybe? Id just spitballing over here 😂

Tbh I wish there was some kind of system to get different 5-star standard characters, I have C0 Tighnari and C4 Keqing and never lost a 50/50 to someone else lol

Was forced to build Mona, she kept on insisting that we're meant to be until eventually she became a C6

Waited 8 months to get a single diluc. Started may last year. Hes c5 now, with skin, triple crowned and r3 blackcliff. Mained him ever since I got him and I don't regret a single thing

Jean became more valuable with Furina release i'd say. Diluc helped me at early game as well as Keqing who even was my first lvl 90 character. This two can do decent DPS with amazing supports, so if you like them you can still play without any problems ( I cleared abyss floor 12 for my friend with Diluc and C0 Raiden). I wanted to add that if you want make a DPS Dehya you better have 5* weapons and a lot of ER. But main Damage dealer will still be Xianling if your Dehya is not C1+.

I've had a weird 50/50 run. As a new player, I lost every single one, except for one. And now, I've won it like 5 or 6 times straight

got keqing in my very first 10 pull, still my favourite character to play to this day. over temporary characters

For new players if you got : - Diluc : build and keep your account, he can be a very good early dps for you. Build withh whatever strongest claymore u have and farm for crimson artifact / just gladiator set. If u have any stronger dps in the future, u can swap all of hid equipments to them - keqing : built her, keep your account. She can carry your account into late game with any dendro units. Build her with thunderfury artifact and crit rate/ atack% sword - Jean : built her and keep your account OR you can start a new account. If you need anemo unit and you like having fun with her skill, keep it, if u feel like u already have enough healer with barbara and u got lucky and got any other healer and u don't like jean, reset ur acc. Build her with viridesent and energy recharge / attack % sword - mona : build and keep your account. Although her dps by herself is not that high, she can be used in many team such as freeze, bloom, hyperbloom or vape and she can boost your main dps damage by a ton. Build her with ER% weapon and emblem of severed fate artifact - Tighnari : build and keep your account. He is one of the best aggravate dps in the game. Just give him 1 electro unit (lisa works) and you will do fine. Build him using either deepwood memory / gilded dream artifact and crit rate / crit damage / em bow - qiqi : reset you account. U got barbruh later on which do the exact same thing as her and she can heal you team at once unlike qiqi - dehya : delete your account, write complain e mail to hoyo for making such a useless character and start a new account

Enjoy freezing on dragonspine with Barbara, lmfao Qiqi is the best healer in the game, if your other teammates are strong enough you will never die and her damage output will never be an issue, also, shes fire for co-op

I disagree with qiqi, she's far better than barbara, also when building qiqi she needs atk which makes her hit a lot better than barbara while healing. Lastly like the other guy said good luck on constant freezing in dragonspine when you use barbara.

@doyoungkim8436 umm yea about that, I was mainly talkinng about the late game benenfit of it. Qiqi won't be used in any notable teams in late game, and also barbruh is now viable thx to furina mono hydro team. I clear this current abyss with this excact team : barbara (c6, prototype amber), furina (c0, fav sword), yelan (c0, sac bow), and kazuha (c0, iron sting). If you don't have the rest of the 5 stars, just replace yelan with xingqu and kazuha with succrose or sayu or a flex slot like fischl or whatever

@doyoungkim8436 also I need to mention that I was a former qiqi cope main lol. I got her the maiden set (this was way before clam set is out) and because she scales with attack, she is actually really squishy and die easily when she is on field. Then I replace the set with clam set and it deal the pop damage way less than when it's on barbruh, and barburh can actually tank some attacks when she is on field because she scales with hp. And yes I use barbruh on nilou bloom which basically kills themselves with the bloom damage and she still tanks it like a champ

Tighnari has always carried me in the abyss for my 2nd team he's great and I only use that 3 star bow on him (forgot its name lol)

4:29 this hurts the eyes and the soul. USE ELEMNTAL SKILL THEN BURST THEN SHOOT 3 TIMES.

I've never found a use for qiqi got her when wishing for eula in 3.8 but thank for teaching me how to use her if not qiqi is dead liao

Try hyperfridge with Qiqi, Nahida or Dendro MC, Yelan or Xingqiu, and EM Raiden or Shinobu. Qiqi will be on-field with Sac sword and Clam set, hyperbloom reaction is already OP, and Qiqi is one of the best drivers for it for several reasons (fast attacks, teamwide healing, freezing helps making more blooms, max Clam set dmg with Superconduct...etc) You can also play her in co-op, she's BY FAR the best healer for it (as well as the best healer in general in term of healing). And she will most likely be SO GOOD with Furina. She's not a must build yet (at least as for 4.1) but she's pretty solid.

I am a very casual player, I can’t bother myself to farm for days to min max a char with perfect rolls, constellations, weapons, I like the simplicity of the older characters, I don’t need to time a million things perfectly to get amazing damage ( I am sure this will be a debatable topic but think it from the perspective of someone who barely has any time ) Diluc does all that for me, I like his simplicity, he does damage just fine, isn’t annoying as a character, looks cool, I can pair him up with xingqui, Bennett and zhongli and I don’t think there are many things that I would need to switch team for ( I have a 3c maxed Ayaka in case I need serious damage )I feel like new characters are cool but have way too much going on for them for my unga bunga brain to handle… like seriously why do characters need to loose their own HP? That’s just straight up stupid, I feel motion sick trying Neuvy’s spin to win, not to mention farming mats for diluc was so easy… I like him and he’ll be part of my pyro team ( even though I have a maxed hu tao as well ) until himeko comes xD

I got diluc instead of jean in the standard banner after 20 pulls. I wish it was her since I have furina at ar 5 (f2p)

As of now it'll be Jean for those who are going for Furina, Keqing and Tighnari can be in second place

I’ve been using diluc since ar 5 to 56 and I’ll never stop using him

as a tighnari dps main, the biggest part of playing him is knowing when to charge your shots all the way! generally, its never worth it to fully charge them, and you generally do more danage with the first level. you should only really use his fully charged shots when you use his skill, and even then its not super important!! (bonus, his burst is really good paired with venti's burst and fischl's skill!!) also, if you dont use him as dps, hes super good at applying dendro and leaving those little green bulb things on the ground ... whatever theyre called. hes best for hyperbloom from my own experience :) but no matter what, if u wanna build a character, just do it because youll have fun !! edit: hes also a staple in my exploration team, just because using his skill to send enemies into a bad trip is way too fun and a good way to get out of unwanted fights :)

Lost my first 50/50 and got Mona, then got Qiqi on standard banner, lost 50/50 again and Dehya came home, and lastly got Tighnari on standard banner. I've been using Mona, Dehya, and Tighnari. But i still dont know where to put Qiqi tho.

Furina will probably be the best teammate for her, especially in co op since that's where Qiqi's talismans can heal everyone

I don’t know if I’m incredibly lucky or its some sort of blessing from god, but the last time a lost i 50/50 (to jean also my first 5*) was 7 event characters ago (kazuha, childe, yae, raiden, nahida, ayaka and eula in that order)

Tbh 5 of these standard banner characters are still very viable to build. Diluc has found a new game style with Burning/Burgeon. Keqing has become amazing with Dendro/Quicken as well as Tighnari. Mona and Jean being buffer and healer is still very much playable with their respective role. Only Qiqi and Dehya is kinda not very advisable to build (only if you're Dehya enjoyer they can build her well).

Playing genshin for 2 and half months. Been involved in 50/50 three times...lost all to jean diluc and mona

Dehya is the best to use on the snow mountain cause the sheer cold can't kill her since her passive heals if anything people should pull her if they haven't explored that place

Okay i'll bite and explain why all of them are worth depending on who you summon. Keqing is the easiest to explain aggravate and hyperbloom allow her to keep 100 up time only if she has nahida or baizhu, you also need yelan or xingqiu for a good uptime. Diluc can achieve 100 percent uptime and its better not to run both yelan and xingiu since you can't vape every hit since icd would just vaporize every other hit and would be a waste. It is also better to kaeya or layla to help with that cooldown on vaporize by putting in melt. So if you want a flex spot instead of Bennett as the fourth spot kazuha or jean is a good pick and an underrated would be sayu or some dendro unit like kirara or baizhu. Jean herself is good as main dps but her most value is in a sunfire team in which Bennett's ult and Jean's ult shred shields and if done correctly. Mona is next and you can build her as a buffer/slash nuke but only if you have a characters burst that is short enough or has high dmg on the frontside, if you use a character that doesn't makes her the worse of the bunch imo. If you use her as main dps which is very few nowadays a hyperbloom is easiest to do, but a better way to use her would be a bloom nuke with nilou. Qiqi is in a rough spot since she needs field time to get her healing in and her burst costs alot to cast so the sacrificial sword is a must to make sure that you can heal when needed, her best teams atm or eula or raiden hypercarry. If you want to maximize qiqi as a unit forget about freeze or melt since she wouldn't apply enough cryo and use her in physical atk speed team. Tighnari is interesting to play because he is a quickswap dps unit and him being on field as a hypercarry loses out on dps. Your best bet is to use a aggravate team with vv shred so that ylu maximize dmg when he does come on field. His best teams need fischl or raiden to take advantage of sucrose or venti. The last spot can be albedo,kirara or zhongli. Dehya is the last standard character and while her stats leave her dead last she is the only pyro support that can be actually used without anemo for aoe. Hear me out of done correctly she is a flex spot for any burning melt teams or a nuke vaporize, but the caveat is c2. If youu want to use her at c0 it is best to build dmg mitigation and just build her kit with hp and em in mind to maximize her dmg. Vourkasha is the only set atm that utilizes her skill while building hp

They're all completely serviceable if you build them. 1. Diluc is great in Vape Teams (Xingqiu and Yelan and Bennett, and maybe Kazuha). To this day the only one-phase kill I have on Dvalin is with a Diluc vape team. He's good for mining too. Fine he's been power-crept, and Xiangling, who is free is a better investment. Hu Tao is harder to use but hits harder. Yoimiya, is harder to use, but hits single targets a little faster. I still think he's worth building especially if you don't have another pyro DPS. 2. Keqing is solid thanks to Dendro. Her aggravate teams area actually decent despite them not being META. Combine her with Collei and Dendro MC, and you have a F2P team. I agree Raiden, Fischl, and kuki are better for electro application. I'd say she is only worth building if you don't have Raiden, Fischl and Kuki. 3. Tighnari is solid in aggravate teams. Pair with Fischl, Kuki Shinobu, Dori (not the first choice), and Raiden. He's a charged-shot bow user, which has it's own drawbacks, but you need a bow in the open world, so I'd say he's worth it. I would not bother building him if you have Nahida and Alhaitham. 4. Jean is a solid healer and usually the last survivor in my Abyss teams. I think Sayu is the other anemo healer option, and Sayu has less offensive capability than Jean. I would not build if you already have Kazuha, Sayu. 5. Qiqi is actually a better healer than most people say. She's criminally underrated. We have a lot of characters like Neuvillette, Furina, and Wriothesley, who lose health to do more damage, and they need a healer / cryo resonance. I would not build if you have Kokomi, Diona or Sayu. 6. Mona is good. Fine, hydro has no shortage of off-field hydro applicators, but only Mona sets up nukes the way she can. She can cross water with her sprint, which is handy in exploration. I would build her, especially if you want hyper bloom teams (and you want hyper bloom teams in the current META). 7. Dehya - the only one I haven't got or built. I don't know much about her aside from she can solo AFK kill Jadeplume Terrorshroom. I heard she got better with a lot of Fontaine characters like Neuvillette. I know Dehya's burst is underwhelming, but she's underrated. I'm not sure you should build her.

You know it's funny cuz you basically mentioned a full team without including diluc, which would end up being better than adding him, with xq yelan kazuha and Bennett, with xq on field. Also Yoimiya harder to use? I don't think so lol. Keqing's teams by definition are meta since she can be your optimal choice to build, they have a very solid ceiling, and can be competent without any limited 5*, and only gets better with them. Raiden and kuki have significantly worse electro application than keqing, raiden kinda makes up for it with just raw dmg, but kuki has literally close to none outside of hyperbloom teams. Fischl's electro application as good as it is, is single target locked, keqing has a huge aoe on her burst and her skill+ca can hit multiple enemies unlike Fischl. Tighnari's only real team is yae fischl kazuha, with him as an enabler. I understand this was done before furina but its still relevant to say Jean is now arguably the best standard if you have her. She heals a lot sure, but she provides nothing else, those characters you mentioned other than furina don't need a healer, and while with furina they do, qiqi is not the 2nd third or even 4th option, she's never good. Mona is useless for hyperbloom teams, she's just for nuke showcases and freeze, hyperbloom dmg doesn't benefit from dmg% buffs like Mona's, and her hydro app is very bad. I don't think you know what underrated means. Dehya is perfectly rated by the general community.

Honestly, just run keqing with Barbara and collei to have hyperbloom and run an off field cryo to get super conduct off. Low cost, little investment, good for early f2p. While not the ideal hyperbloom team, it sure beats lisa.

Jean is so bad ass now with Furina

Agree!! I went from not using her to having her on every team with Furina…

I'm pretty sure that stellar explosion on keqing by using charged attack is locked by cons, correct me if I'm wrong

You are, you probably mean her additional instance of dmg when using her e, this is c1.

I think Mona is one of the most popular characters. I even seen her picture on Google Play gift cards but shes a 5 star who never got a banner. even Keqing got a banner and was free

Every con in this list can be fixed by either an energy recharge weapon, an artifact set, or knowing the optimal play style for said character

I find it so weird that all these new players just weren't there for scaramouches introduciton along with the festering desires event lol

Mona is the most insane character I pulled from standard. At level 70 with level 6 talents her bursts are doing 60K. I can't imagine her damage when crowned

Easy 300k to 400k with full rotation. Can go above with better weapons I think.

the only time i ever won my 50/50 was cyno this year (before 4.2 second phase) and neuvillette and i've been playing since feburary 2021 ;-;

C2 Jean for ATK SPD buff Tignhari if you want a fast dendro dps (quickswap) Mona for nuke showcase Keqing if you want fast gameplay albeit low damage multiplier

I'd say that Tighnari, Keqing, Jean and Mona are worth building. Tighnari cuz the other competitors are limited 5 star so you might have to wait for their rerun or you might not want them. Also Nahida with Tighnari works so that's one less character for him to compete against. Keqing is in the same vain, you can play her with Fischl instead of choosing one or the other and Yae, the another aggravate competitor is limited 5 star. Jean cuz *wink wink* ;) and Mona cuz nuking is very fun. Also for Hu Tao teams you can use Mona instead of Xinqui in double hydro setup which results in more damage and you don't have to worry about Mona not getting her burst cuz..2 hydro characters. Building Dehya is becoming more and more worth it tho, thought she was a hopeless characterback then but like she's actually pretty strong in Neuvi and one Wrio team(as far as I know and the team is burning melt with Bennett, Dehya and Nahida)

Telling people.on what character is worth building is very subjective. I say build who ever you like. As a day 1 player and a Qiqi main if heavily invested on she will be strong. In short if you love the character with enough invesment and know how to comp then they will be just as good ad anybody
