I started wearing caps and tried both. The 47 caps are so comfortable. New Era's are good too but they have a more solid form so I feel the resistance from my hair but there's less pressure with the 47s.

Having owned many 9Fifty’s it’s amazing how much the shape varies between what is meant to be the same hat. I have my eye on the 47 brand ones now as I think they’ll look better in me.

please do new era 59fifty fitted low profile compare with '47 relaxed franchise, I'm curious with their brim length and shape including their crown height

i like how the 47BRAND using plastic Brim while new Era uses cheap Cardboard

New Era uses a resin fiber blend which is more like a blended plastic and cardboard.

I have 2 Monster Energy Athlete SnapBack new era 9fifty hats, and when I wear them, no curve on the brims, the brim looks as if it’s going in a upward position, of that makes sense. I don’t mind adding a small curve to the brim, but any advice or ideas on why the brim is doing that? Also, would you know how to correct it? Thanks.

You are definitely correct about the sizing, New eras run big and the square shaped crowns,

I have both 47 an new era caps I personally prefer 47 simply because the make an fit kinda reminds me of the hats from the 90s but overall both are great hats

I didn't even know '47 made this model, I associated them with Dad Hats. Now I'm intrigued because, even if I really like fitted NewEra caps, I think I look sillier with their 9Fifty caps, maybe because I can't manage to find the perfect fit. Too bad there's less choise overseas (I live in Italy)

this olive 47' cap is definitely the captain snapback. the sureshot i believe has a much more lower profile on the crown. i got this one at a local Lids store haha. one of my favorites for sure

Both are good hats new era is just more popular. I have both brands, I wish 47 would bring back the Carhartt collaboration.

The boxy New Era caps just have that classic appeal to them, and they look better if you have a bigger head circumference 😆

dont know about 47's, but new-era snapback lost its vibrant color very soon :(

I wear both brands I like new era and 47 but I don’t like flat brims, I own both brands and I also like majestic they make dope hats too, I like the old school 80’s 90’s style type caps, I don’t go for the eary 2000’s fitted flat brim style caps that all the rappers were wearing back n the early 2000’s anyway both are good brands

Haha the big crown and flat brim style in 2000s was a crazy time in hip hop fashion, I used to wear those backwards/sideways at an angle 😂 thanks for the comment!

I really like fitteds, and i have a lot of old ones, but i don’t have the money. I got a giftcard for a store thats sells snapbacks now im forced to buy a snapback, im not ready for it😢
