Kabuki finally restocked these after a few months of waiting. However none of the boujie gold nickel.. so I started looking around to see what others had to say about the plain zinc. Not only did I find your 2 shoulderok videos helpful (and many of your other videos as well) but I’ve finally seen the portable in action! Im sold. Thank you Kurt

Looks familiar… also you gotta get some use out of it for single arm swings. Glad I converted you!

I gave the single arms swings with the shortened arm a few times and didn’t prefer it to the longer arm. In the B roll I do single arm swings with 10 lbs. it’s in the last 20 seconds of the video

What’s your opinion on the Myorok? Looks like a neat tool.

I have one and will use it in a targeted fashion. I will try to use it with my ahoukderök to work on my back, but it is difficult to use. If you’re into scraping, the myorok is an awesome tool. Heavy, surprisingly comfortable to hold and effective.

For someone that really needs to work on shoulders, how good is this if added to a traditional power lifting program?

I found the shoulderok to be absolutely vital to my shoulder surgery recovery. I think most people would benefit from the addition of the shoulderok to their training.

Shoulderök vs. steel mace? Is there any benefit to the Shoulderök over a steel mace other than the ability to change the weight? I can definitely see the pro of being able to do that. Much easier to store one handle and a small stack of plates. But $35 for a steel mace vs. $200+ for a Shoulderök...even buying 3 or 4 different weights of steel maces over time would be less money.

This is difficult to answer. There are more advantageous uses to include IASTM, knurl, IASTM attachments, as well as the ability to load it with a weapon in the event of hostility! (Ha) If IASTM and knurl isn’t important to you, the steel maces may be a better value for sure.

Great video! Think I'm going to order the breakdown version. 1 upgrade I think I would make to it is to make the top nut have the thread so you could takebit off and screw to to the bottom half. That way not only would you have a breakdown version but a true large of small version.

Was about to order but the shipping (even the low end option) was $60... might have to back burner this one... :-(
