TSOP has multiple variants tuned to respective frequencies. 38KHz is most common type. The sensor can sense a modulated signal of 38KHz but the output pin of the sensor isn't sufficient to drive motors/pump directly. One need to use transistorised circuitry to driver heavier load. TSOP sensor itself can only run on 5V. *Time stamp **3:50**-**4:15*

Ultrasonic sensor is the best sensor. It works both indoor & outdoor. But iR sensor never work on outdoor

It can detect anything but it cannot detect through anything. For that purpose you need microwave motion sensor

DEkho usme 3 wires hongi. ek input ek ground ek output. So input positive hai Ground negative hai. Ek bar check karo ki output wire negative hai ya positive. Agar negative hogi toh NPN sensor hai aur aisa hoga toh PNP sensor lena market se. wahi agar output positive hoga toh PNP sensir hai and market se NPN leke ana. Jo bhi ho uska ulta leke ana. But if you are using microcontroller then sensor laane ki jarurat nahi hai just code mein sensor ke output ko 0 se 1 ya 1 se 0 karke dekho.

@@AutomationDude in some conditions TSOP also won't work in sunlight. Only ultrasonic will work in any light condition. I spent nearly a week working on it.
