One small thing you missed is that there's one other region that allows you to tan leathers. In Zeah, in the Forthos Dungeon, there's an NPC near the red dragons that can tan the hides for you, as well as the Bone Burner for the dragon bones you get from those dragons that gives 300% more prayer xp (though it does require a bit of set-up if you don't give up 5 dragonstones to the shaded beast (which can be looted from the Isle of Souls chest at a 1/55)). Considering you need Fremennik for the gilded altar, Wilderness for the chaos altar, or Morytania for the ectofunctus, this might be your best early-mid game training method for prayer, especially if you pick Zeah as your first or second region.

I'm a new player so this will be my first league. I'm excited to get a chance to try some of the content that I'm still not good enough to do by the power of cheatin... I mean relics. Seems you pretty much have to pick Desert, Asgarnia and Kourend if you're going ranged, which I am. It's a lot easier when other people pick for you. Plus I really like the skilling minigames in those regions.

Thanks for the video! I'm a mid-game player that doesn't have a lot of bossing experience, so I've been thinking of primarily taking regions with bosses that I want to try so that I can gain some familiarity with them in an easier, lower-stakes environment. After watching the video I think I'll go for Asgarnia, Desert, and Tirannwn not only because they contain most of the bosses I want to try anyway, but also because I was thinking of picking ranged and they have most of the best ranged loot between them.

I think with these regions it might take you a little longer to go through the early game, but once you get through I'm sure you'll have a good time! I'm thinking ranged as well with Zeah, Asgarnia and Tiranwnn.

I'm really excited for this league. I played Shattered Relics and only went in with the mindset of learning how to do corrupted gauntlet and that was a lot of fun. This time I am gonna try to learn how to do solo chambers and phosanis for my ironman. I kinda wanna go a door build. So I went with Zeah, Asgarnia, Morytania as my unlocks this time around. It should be a lot of fun and I already really like the content in those regions. It will just be super challenging with only one spellbook and no trident. I am excited to dive deeper into this Leagues though!

wilderness could greatly rise in value if you can get your hands on fully unlocked ancient warrior gear. DWH alternative, armour that pushes deep into top tier, the VLS. Probably wont happen but i so dearly hope it does

Wilderness having ancient warrior gear should be a must have. Imagine a 2 tick VLS. I'd love to see it happen.

I just wanna mention, that while the desert was HORRIBLE in trailblazer league from a total amount of points perspective, it gave me the only dragon rank I ever got due to how trivially easy its tasks were, allowing me more time to focus on the other tasks in my other regions. I think it was criminally underrated by the lazy player crowd.

Why zeah? Ancestral is about the only thing you get out of it?

Asgarnia will be amazing for motherload mine alone! Also priff course do be good!

I know I won't have the sheer amount of time needed for Dragon rank so I'll pick Wilderness because imo it has the most enjoying content (pet hunting). I haven't done any calculations yet with relics, but I think even if you didn't go a melee build you could kill corp in a reasonable amount of time with range or magic, depending on your regions. Mage could attempt to use shadow against corp and hope the leagues accuracy buffs stack with shadow and Magic does full damage against corp. Range could potentially use a 2 tick zaryte crossbow with Dragon ruby bolts. Melee will still be the king of Wilderness, especially with a 2 tick Osmuten's fang.

Thinking maybe desert and asgarnia as a ranged or melee setup. Kandarin if magic and maybe as a 3rd anyways. Loosely thinking of Fremenik as ranged for easy construction with infinite money, and getting venator ring, magus ring, assembler, and vorkath to melt. Probably not though.

The only thing about zeah is that given the amount of content available and if all regions are balanced points wise there may be some shocking tasks. 200 WT kills and 500 artefacts stolen for example.

Zeah lets you tan leather in Forthos dungeon (terrible to use normally but with last recall that isn't a problem)

I do agree with Wildy spot but do think the Accursed Sceptre and Webweaver are slept on a bit. Without Zulrah: Sceptre is 1 damage lower than Trident at all levels and has its special and Webweaver even outside wilderness is the strongest shortbow type bow in the game, and like the bowfa or blowpipe, doesnt need an ammo slot.

Lightbearer op, but early game wise the ring of shadows is basically like a brimstone ring but without the Hydra RNG/95 slayer. I believe it's what, 75k to purchase? Huge early game alternative with minimal effort for the best unlocked area this leagues.

I picked Wildy last time and im doing it again. The wildy is alot of fun, even more so with the updates since the last trailblazers

i genuinly cant belive how much my opinion of zeah changes with the addition of relics and especialy RUINOUS PRAYERS to the table. i think normal prayers for the most DEFENSIVE scaling and ruinous for offensive is amazing, and now im so hyped ot leanr solo and group cox thati would never give up on the ZAD melee life. its gonna be a longggggggg grind BUT IM SO EXCITED THAT SO MANY CHEESE METHODS WILL BE POSSIBLE HAHAHA its alll about speeding through this earlyer grind to get us where we need ot be LETS GO

I know it's not the strongest but I'm definitely choosing Wildy just because I love the region and having a Voidwaker would be sick.

Nice video and also awesome to see my regions at the top. As for the question at the end... literally everyone, the second the hit rank 1 for just a moment theyre going to screengrab it and post it everywhere

The interesting thing about Wildy is that, with shadow and the mage relic, the DPS Calc has a theoretic average kill time of 86 seconds, assuming Kandarin is also chosen for tormented and occult. There will probably be a lot of competition, which is the only downside, though. I'm curious to see if Jagex make all bosses in the game instanced in some way to help with the crazy competition that they will all see.

@@AColdOneYT there's a massive difference between "the only tanners" and "the only convenient tanners".

For slayer specifically, the Wilderness is surprisingly decent with the addition of burstable jellies, dust devils, nechryaels, abby demons inside the Wildy slayer caves. Especially with the Accursed Sceptre being able to autocast ancients. I still agree that it's the weakest region though, but slayer is low-key kinda good there now. Probably a lot less contested than the catacombs burst spots too. You'd still realistically only pick it for the love of the region overall, or if you just wanted to do PVP for fun and/or content creation.

As a noob I'm considering picking it so I can try the area as I haven't yet with my main, maybe one of Zeah and desert as both are a lot of content and one support for them between Kandarin, Asgarnia and Fremennik

I cant remember where but I thought they said somewhere about not needing the other regions to complete a regions respective diaries, ex. kandarin not needing tirannwn

Tbh I'm torn between Zeah and Frem. Zeah has so much content and I love Chambers but, like you said, it'll be a bit of a grind. Frem for Magus ring and saturated heart to round out the mage gear sounds good. And Virtus makes up for Ancestral. Very difficult lol.

What I’d really like to see is a video that suggests a few different area combos. I like Zeah for the overwhelming amount of content. I want to try TOA since it’s scalable and solo-able. But I also want moritania so I can do some barrows runs and benefit from the slayer tower and ectofunctus. But unlocking all 3 raids doesn’t seem viable since I’d need other regions to upgrade to get to some raids. If I went with Zeah and Desert, is there a third area that would complement it perfectly? All of these details are amazing. But as a mid-game iron right now, I’m struggling to plan far enough in advance to make sure I don’t mess up my choices.

Z D K is generally optimal for a combat path. Kandarin is basically the support path that finals out every build perfectly. Defenders/Torva/Torture for melee, Occult/Tormented for magic, Anguish/Arma/Vambrace for ranged. Kandarin doesn't offer primary weapon upgrades but it's got the most BIS in the other equipment slots.

Don't make that mistake when you actually get into the world thinking you'll have access to gwd with Kandarin!

If you want absolutely cracked magic DPS, pick Kandarin as your third.

Asgarnia feels like must have with defenders, max cape and 2 of the bis crossbows + full arma. Also the godswords for melee builds and torva is just super strong. Oh and void also. Only could skip asgarnia if going for a mage build perhaps? So I am sure to be picking asgarnia and I think meta will be asgarnia + desert + mory/zeah depending on preference for tob vs cox

I'm going KDF bc I am not going to do Z bc Virtus+Magus Ring+Sat Heart will be a good enough alternative to ancestral. And I don't feel like spending half the league at CoX for ancestral tbh)

Unfortunately even if we can select our slayer tasks they said that Wilderness Slayer is disabled so no 5x rev weapons from being on a slayer task :(

Its my first ever league. I had no idea how limiting some of these picks would be. I picked Kandarin when I wish I picked Asgarnia. I wanted to try melee as my first league since I had already picked the bank note and can un-note food. Slayer is where I casually spend most of my playtime. Getting on the leaderboards and whatnot doesn't mean anything to me, I don't even know what the rewards are, I just wanna get all the relics. So I missed out on trying/learning God Wars and getting defenders. I'm thinking Morytania and Kourend next. That way I can get my Slayer Helm, do my favorite boss, Grotesque Guardians, and try raids 1 & 2 for the first time. Plus that helm will help vs Sire, something I'd also like to try for once. Getting a Bludgeon would be pretty hype. I hate Barrows with a passion tho. I'm enjoying the league all the same. Not sure how I'm going to get a Torso tho. Like are there even people there? Anyone there is going to want melee right? I don't remember how it works.

Kinda puzzled why the relic leaks weren't included, especially at least the combat relics, since they drastically change the power level of things like defenders (completely optional) and crossbows (cranked). Would've liked your thoughts on the regions with what we DO actually know, considering the combat relics are by far the biggest motivator for region choices/etc.

This is way more concrete and will be useful after the teasers are done and the league is live. Imagine a video is made based on the teasers so far and then another relic/passive/mechanic comes out that completely changes the game. The vid would be useless.

You can also tan hide in forthos dungeons on zeah next to the bone burner and red dragons

the only thing I want to know is, what regions will give me the easiest and fastest points for the cosmetic unlocks, so then I can drop this mode without grinding it

Check max hit calc for mage the cape almost never increases max hit unless other BiS is acquired

I'm torn on what to take as my 3rd region. My plan was to pick Asgarnia for Bandos/Torva and Desert for the Soulreaper axe with the melee relic but idk if I should pick Kourend as the 3rd since it's a strong region overall and I could kill Vardorvis efficiently or go with Fremennik which is overall weaker but I would be able to get the Bellator ring and also kill Duke with melee for the pieces. Or if it would be better to go with Kandarin for Piety and Torture ammy but that would mean I'm stuck with only The Whisperer and Leviathan but no OP relics for range/mage. Would very much appreciate any advice on this 😅 Edit: And would Frem even be worth it without Kourend if I can only get Bellator as my melee ring? Piety would probably be more dps than that or a B ring

I'm planning on picking Zeah, Asgarnia, Desert in that order but I'm still paranoid I'm missing out on stuff by not going Kandarin :/

Think I'll go Kand desert zeah not sure of order I'll have to see the quest list that auto comps first. Shadow + mage relic will be insane, kand and zeah are both good early game, but I think the nod early still goes to kandarin it'll let me have an early cannon and I can't go desert last as a mage.

With bonus minigame pts you can do tithe farm for herb boxes to get a shit ton of farming xp and herb boxes. Something like 550k xp/hr and 280 grimy herbs for making potions.

@@Corzappy it's been a while but iirc i was getting 100k xp/h at tithe in normal game so at later levels you should be able to get over 1m xp/h at tithe farm

at least 3 or 5 relevant creators will make a rank 1 video. Solomission, Hannannie, abd 50:50 on CEnginner depending if he goes wildy content

@AColdOneYT I think you haven't factored in Tirannwyn enough for how strong it is vital for someone wanting to fast max, the supply rewards from Zalcano, Zulrah, Cg, Red Chins and Crystal Imps. It's 99 Crafting, Prayer, Hunter, Ranging, Herblore, Fletching, Farming, Agilty, Mining, Smithing and Thieving. Looking for rank 1 i'm sure all these are solid for easy 200mil all. As well with infinite gold for pay to win shop scape. Must admit just going off the cuff with this thought, happy to be wrong

I would be surprised if the supply rewards from most of those will amount to much at all. I'd bet that the infinite shop relic is the highest point relic, and almost all of those suplies are a free 200m with infinite gold. Smithing is free from ore shops, fletching is free from broad arrows, farming is free from construction plants, crafting is free from Tzhaar gems. However, without the shopscape relic, Tirannwin definitely has the best potential for supply printing.

So i played osrs way way back, picked it up again about a year ago, and kind of fell off again a couple months later. I was thinking about picking it up again only to see a bunch of hype about this event. Thing is that i have no clue what 90% of the stuff talked about in this video is and dont know if i should play this or just go back to my previous character.

are items kept after leagues is over/when logging into other worlds? or is it a gameplay as a fresh account in league worlds? and can you keep you xp/levels gained?

Desert and Zeah offer the majority of BiS mage and range gear i just dont know what to pick for #3

Asgarnia for range and Kandarin if mage.

I’m picking desert, tirannwn, asgarnia as a range build going for dragon cup.

Dude that's literally my same strategy. Let's discuss something though. Do you think the mage relic with shadow can be used at every boss and still beat them? For example using the shadow at Nex. In fact, the only boss I can think of that I need to use range is Nex. I'm in heavy conflict deciding between the range relic or mage relic. The shadow on its own is already powerful enough. Giving range the relic boost would pretty much make both my range and mage OP. But, if the mage setup can be used everywhere and be made even MORE OP, then why not go with that one? What do you think?

With desert being considered the best region, I would assume mage build is the meta. What would be the most complimentary regions? Kandarin because of tormented bracelet and occult, along with Zeah because of ancestral? Would there be a stronger build choice?

Zeah increases max DMG by 2-3% over virtus if you get all ancestral from CoX, fremnick would be the best 3rd area for mage ring and saturated heart

can also tan leather at the ranging guild.

there's a relic that gives u the ruinous powers prayerbook

zeah is good but cox is a issue because you cant do cox with just 1 attack style even in the leagues that's not possible even tough it would be amazing to get ancestral for magic gear you can get a full magic gear from just desert unlock, also the dragon scimmy will be worse then the dragon longsword if you go with the melee relic because the longsword will be faster

going Kourend and desert, is it better to have kandarin or asgarnia as the 3rd? does it come down to basically piety and jewelry vs gwd?

I'm in the same boat. Can't decide. Piety is difficult to ignore though. I'm sure that endgame you can camp magic or ranged and skip piety (using the scroll prayers from COX instead), but getting there will be a little bit harder without piety.

Thoughts about regions since ruinous prayers teaser? I'm assuming it will require desert unlock to use them.

I doubt a relic or passive will require a specific region tbh.

Gonna be playing on mobile mostly so sadly things such as raids and most bosses with complicated mechanics will be a no-go. Idk what to pick, considering Morytania first then attempting Gwd with barrows in Asgarnia, then maybe desert?

I'm in a similar boat and wish someone would make a less pvm heavy focused route. I get it, but like you said I'll have to be doing a lot of this league on the side, on mobile.

the dragon pickaxe is now available through fossil island volcanic mine isnt it? So it isnt reqired to go through other regions ito receive it. It will be available for everyone? Or am I mistaken

you get it in a broken state and the NPC that repairs it is in Asgarnia
