Thanks to your reviews, i bought a new Audi SQ8. I saw your previous reviews and decided that the SQ8 was the perfect replacement combination for my Q7 and i wouldn’t actually drive the RSQ8 to its fullest potential. So far in the first year it has been flawless in its first 9000 miles, and if you pay attention to your driving it will return 20 mpg around town (including some spirited driving as needed!) You really do a great job in all your reviews, thanks for continuing to provide them!👍👍

Great in dept review as usual. Just an idea why do not compare and show us BMWs Driving Assistance Professional and Mercedes Drive pilot. It could really nice to see which is behaving better and more intuitive. Thanks

Porsche Cayenne Turbo after driving the BMW 5 M seems more exciting than the BMW. I always respect your opinion so much so I am a bit puzzled by your review of the BMW. BMW definitely better than previous model but to me the iOS 8 in BMW is a mess. The Audi is great until the second year of ownership but I sense I’ve been unlucky with some possible less quality built Audi cars. Owned 2 Audi’s and will never buy Audi again. Keep up your great sense of humor and superb job of reviewing cars.

I don’t even see Porsche as a competitor to these SUVs. Porsche will always be most exciting to drive and is in its own class.

Just got the gv70 spot prestige. Loving it I only have one gripe You cannot use android auto and playing music from a flash drive at the same time. Cause it only have one usb for media. I really wish it had a auxiliary input since I normally use a external dac/amp.

Regarding the macan T it feels that sporty because the panoramic roof is optioned out, please try it with panoramic roof then give us your opinion, today nobody buys a car with panoramic roof, even if wanted to I will not do it for a car

Thomas, doesn't the X5 have standard air suspension in the rear on all models? As for my preference, it would be the X5 regardless 6 cylinder or V8. The ONLY part of the iX that I like is the rear end, nothing else. But that's just me.

X5 has adaptive suspension standard, air is optional. Just PHEV gets standard air. It might be some other packages in some markets, but usually it’s this way

@@autogefuehl I see. Here for the Indonesian market, the X5 has air suspension in the rear as standard ostensibly to maintain the ride height when loaded.

@@AaronRandolphChen - you are confusing 2 axle as only rear. It is an option on standard 6 cyl X5s, standard on PHEV, not available on the M

I don't get why car manufacturers think that future means more screens and just funky looking interiors. This current era is making these luxury cars look less luxurious and more tron. Disappointed, I hope they make better design decisions in 5 years time. BMW's still look great interior wise!

Shame they don't have Lincolns there, Ford is making moves with lincoln suvs, at least in terms of luxury (not so much sport, but they aren't slouches). Would love to hear your take on them. Time for a visit to the US.

Genesis GV70 value for money & more reliable than others

I would take TOYOTA 4Runner for its super mechanical ability and reliability TOYOTA VENZA will do same job at half of these luxury vehicles plus it will give 40+ mileage and low maintenance cost Mazda CX-50/90 is better than Audi Q5/7 tbh

Genesis GV70 is just as reliable as any Toyota, I would rather take the GV70 all day n night, that Toyota Venza also know as Harrier in my country interior features n looks wise is worser than my '23 Hyundai Tucson, n it costs around $90k to $100k in my country thanks to obscene taxes, the Tucson costs around just $60k usd so would never pay that much extra for nothing extra 😂

I'll take an Xpeng G9.

​@@autogefuehl On paper, it seems to offer near EQE SUV-level luxury for 40K less. Unlike the Germans, it can't just charge for the reputation so it would be interesting to see if they can impress. You could maybe try it out in the Netherlands once they get cars to test drive.

I wouldn't touch another Audi ever after my last Q. Horrible experience with that company and would warn people against buying any of their cars. The Volvo's seats and ride are very uncomfortable. They have a terrible reliability of the infotainment and electrical issues. I'm reading about a LOT of issue's with the Genesis almost immediately after purchasing. They seem to have a ton of reliability and engine issues. The GLC isn't an option for us because it's too small as is the Macan. The Macan is the best driving, comfortable and reliable but I'd stick with either the base or S models. The T is just way too expensive. I hate that BMW X3 has gone the way of others taking away a gear shift for buttons and made the Head's up display a stand alone option. I'd rather get a 2019. The X5 has it all for us but another X3 (used) would work well again for us. Prices on leases have gotten completely out of hand especially on any Mercedes. Porsche is almost juts as bad. Thanks for the in-depth reviews.

@@CarlaWalters We took a 2nd look at a 2023 vs. the existing 2019 X3. The new engine was substantially improved not that there was an issue before. It also handled better even without the 4 wheel drive. I ordered the car through the BMW Website exactly what we wanted including the Heads up display. Wound up being reasonably priced since it didn’t have a ton of options we don’t use or want anyway. I had considered buying out the 2019 lease and the new lease made better financial sense since it gives us another 3 yr warranty. They shipped the car to a dealer I found after trying to negotiate with several over priced one’s and signed a new 3 yr. Lease for a fair price. BMW has started again to offer incentives which made all the difference. That may have improved since July. Without question it’s been the right move. The only issues have been the infotainment center and connecting to it with multiple users. Strangely enough, when we were trying to decide what to order we had a 2023 X5 rental car. The 2 wheel version Hydroplaned a few miles from picking it up at about 45 miles pr hr. In typical rain for Florida at times. My wife drove it too and she surprisingly wanted another X3 too after insisting we should go back to the X5. The X3 is by far the better driving car if it’s big enough for your family or u prefer more a drivers SUV then it’s an easy choice BUT u must find the right dealership not trying to price gouge U which there r many although it’s gotten far easier. Wait for the months when they have good incentives and the dealer should also be discounting the car. I’d use Car Edge if u don’t know how to negotiate a buy or lease properly. It’s Too complicated for most people to do on their own. I’m looking for a Used Porsche Cayenne now. If the Macan was a little bigger it becomes the best option for us. Those two r better than anything else on the road although I really like this new BMW engine with the electric assist. Instant response and they handle better than the 2019’s.
