Also add one more point: The move from the zone should break the previous high/low structure i.e impluse should give BOS. This will validate your supply and demand zone i.e your order blocks... :)

High probability order block should have 3 traits : - An impulsive move -Resulting an Imbalance - Creating significant change to the Market structure (BOS/Choch)

Thanks, JeaFx. The biggest mistake I was doing is not checking at least 4-5 times high time frames. It's important that OB selection is based on a High time frame move, we always have SVG there and we can't ignore it.

Nice explanation, it did clear out few of my doubts, but... on 6:57... you gave a possibility of the Order Block being tested twice before going down. Can you explain how many times can a Order Block be used ?

When looking for an demand order block do you use the last down candle (WITH THE WICKS) before the up push?

Interesting, that wick that trade lower you did not consider it as B.O.S for me I would have and ultimately took the standard zone and lost the trade. So how do you consider a B.o.S?

Alot of times price doesn't come back to your supply or demand zones on the HTF after you've marked them out so in that scenario what's the solution for entry

Ive recently been studying OBs recently, and I ve literally came to the same conclusions as you have. However, i look for inducment before buying which greatly increases my winrate

WE ALWAYS SEE THE HTF BOS AND CHOCH , LTF IS JUST FOR ENTRY. 15 MIN -> 1 MIN, 1HR-> 5 MIN, 4HR -> 15 MIN

But not every zone is retested? Otherwise price would be ranging up and down? When do the big moves happen that doesn’t come back to retest?

Price eventually will fill imbalance zones, some zones are there to trap most SMC traders, institutional traders hunt ur stop losse on normal zones often.. So trading from an extreme zone has a higher probability for sucess

It depends on what style ur trading.. If ur suitable with 30m or 1H move capture then you should consider that zone.. Bt if u r looking to capture the swings, then u gotta look for HTF zones...

Q, how you can confirm that taking trade in embalnce as you know sometimes the price does not reach your OB?
