The fact that MAMAMOO is the only girl group that went to a lot of singing competition shows and they did very well in every competition regardless the result just prove how they are superior and better than other girl groups

@@bahdhhana3748 i dont think MAMAMOO are underrated anymore. Their HIP M/V literally surpases 100M views. Hwasa also a korean IT girl and they has big fanbase in s.korean. I think only international Kpop fan been sleeping on them. Its so sad honestly, ppl need to know how talented MAMAMOO are bcs its really rare for a group that all member can sing well. I hope MAMAMOO will get more recognition that they deserved

Also, the first girl group to sell tickets in less than two minutes from scend year debut even red Velvet have a suprise when they her 4 Schedule in a day. mamamoo is the most girl group with all membar go to music show like 1 immortal song they broke the number off all kpop groups with 14 time come and win 4 time and the only kpop groups that go to special episode that call best of the best and they the only group that all membar have go to hidden mask singer and the must groups go to skitch book as a soloist or groups or sub Unit and mamamoo call the most successful solo group in kpop and there is more and more off broke number that Mamamoo have broke but people don't care and can't believe and always support the big company groups 🙄💕

I am honestly not speaking as a moomoo here, I absolutely feel like Wheein held back out of sheer respect. Of course, Tak is great, but I mean, watch Wheein belting out her notes in other occasions... she just held everything in this time. There was the nerves as well, but I think it was mostly out of respect. It's okay, though. Eventually Mamamoo will perform in this kind of show and they will be the ones people need to show respect for.

I agree. I would go so far as to say that I think if Wheein didn't hold back, it would've been an even match. She still gave a really good fight though, holding back or not.

I love mamamoo to death, but seo moontak is just too good. I have seen her sing a lot on immortal songs, and she is just a power house singer. I am proud of whee in, she gave it a good shot.

I feel like Wheein gave the song a bit more buildup and dimension, some more control and complexity. And I love her moments, like at 16:23. But I can totally see why her opponent won. That fire and soul is just WOW.

everyone is commenting how wheein held back and as a fellow moomoo, i agree but even if wheein got to show her high notes her voice is thin compared to moon tak, moon tak could easily over power or over shadow wheein's vocal. maybe nerves got the best of wheein still moon tak won that for me. now if that was solar against moon tak it would be a different story since solar also has a thick and full voice.

Wheein was so nervous here. I felt so bad for her but she did really good. I think Solar’s voice, which is larger, would have fit with the other lady’s voice better.

if wheein was paired up with the other artists, she'll definitely win. Her opponent is just too good wahh but still kudos to wheein she was able to keep up with her, it was actually a good duet :)

wheein was definitely holding back. I've seen her in other videos belting out hella high notes that were definitely stronger

@Demon Wheein can do whistle notes that is as high as you can go, it was such a weak performance from her, I was expecting much more. I believe nerves played a big part in this but she can do way better... I do agree Seamoon Tak won this clearly but if Wheein had given a good performance (this was very mediocre with the standard I have for her) it would've been much more of a battle.

@@dacdb4003 Wheein's notes here were hit perfectly. She did her best despite being nervous. Every singer has their limit and that is why you can say it was very mediocre. If Wheein pushes to compete on top of her lungs against Seo Moon Tak, it will be her loss as her vocal chords could be damaged. Wheein's technique is the best yet she is the most vulnerable.

@@Jasonhau I mean it is fine if it is not her genre or if it was not her best performance. Don't make it more than it has to be. I love Wheein's voice, she is very versatile in terms of stile (she suits R&B much more or stiles in which she uses her head voice), and while yes this is not her forte I do believe she could've done a bit better. Sorry for expecting so much from such a great singer, I have come to expect great things from Mamamoo, especially from Wheein.

I honestly think Wheein has the best voice compared to her opponent,it's just that she doesn't have enough power like her opponent to secure those notes of the song.The song is not for Wheein but to her opponent I think that's why she lost.

It's not that she doesn't have enough power, it's just that their singing styles are different. If seo moontak sang a quiet song, she would've lost because Wheein would've been able to portray the emotions more with her voice. So it's rly about whose voice suits the song more. Not whose singing is better. Because they're both rly good singers

Seomoon Tak is obviously way more experienced and no doubt to win, but Whee In is doing great. Good enough for not chicken out.

This is by far my favorite battle. Even if Wheein was nervous, she got to show off her vocal talents and you can see that Seomoon Tak was impressed Also the big difference between Wheein and Seomoon Tak's singing styles somehow made the battle even more awesome

Wheein is The Most Adorable Person on the Planet! (You can't say the most adorable *_being_* on the planet because there's some puppies and kittens that are off the charts...)

I'm sad, very very sad to be honest. After this, I watched some more performances of other teams, and you know what, I swear with my life that I'm not being biased, I realise that Wheein can actually beat a lot of contestants here with whatever songs they choose!!! You can say that she put up a good fight (ofc she did, a great one even), but I just can't bear she being sent off right from the start like this!!! You can call me greedy since my heart also want her to have more screen time when seeing this. But honestly, she deserves to a chance to go out there, win some rounds (yes I know she will definitely win) and then "put up a good fight" or "unluckily met the great sunbae" or "she already showed her capability" or whatever the result is.

But Wheein is Technically Better than Solar, solar is the power vocal of the group but that doesn't mean she's the best, Wheein is balanced her Curls and Vocal switches are clearer but just lacks power, and has the Biggest Range, but Higher range doesn't mean more power so..

People the point of the loss wasn't the ability of hitting high notes or not, it's just that the SHEER POWER of Tak's voice is quite unprecedented, honestly I've never heard someone like her, it's like her voice has mass, it's like a wall of sound is coming toward you. Wheein is a great singer but in comparsion it's like screaming to cover the sound of a ferry horn.

This is my first time watching this episode and even though Wheein lost here I’m still so proud of her. It must be nerve wracking to be going up against a veteran, but being able to keep up with her sunbaenim, the Legendary Seo Moontak, I can say Wheein have my respect. The vocal power required in the song matches so well with Seo Moontak's style of singing. I blame the coach for their team's loss. It's an Ailee song so he should have thrown Solar in the ring. Seems like he doesn't know his own team's strength. We all know Wheein can belt, but she also knows her voice and she knows her best belt will just get drowned with the super-powerful vocals of Moontak (her voice is even more powerful than Solar's because it sounds like a combination of Solar & Hwasa). So Wheein just watched her do her thing. A genius move actually. lol. If only the song was an intense ballad...

I have watched Wheein's other singing competitions and I can see she held back, maybe because of nervousness and intimidation because she's facing a big senior. She didn't even do adlibs and just concentrated on singing her parts to avoid making mistakes. She still did so well getting 5 votes, only 3 difference! I'd bet she'll do even better now that she has 10 years of experience if she joins a show like this again!

Personally i think she did great :D I feel she was just a bit intimidated at the beginning and if given a bit more time to adjust (you can see her gaining confidence little by little)to the stage and get it to the ''fun and playful'' mood she usually has on stage she could have won. I think she wasn't as confident as she normally is and that stopped her from singing her all :D GOOD JOB WHEEIN! ^^
