The 2022 Road Glide ST and Street Glide ST come with a host of updates this year. Both models come from the factory with a 117 Cubic Inch Milwaukee-Eight motor and a heavy breather intake giving the rider access to 127 ft-lbs of torque. The rear suspension has been raised an inch increasing the lean angle to 32 degrees on the right and 31 degrees on the left allowing for a lot more fun in and out of the corners. Additionally both models come stock with ABS breaks, Boombox GTS with a color touch screen, Daymaker LED headlights and the RDRS system (Reflex Defensive Rider System). Both bikes come in two color options. Vivid Black and Gunship Gray.
So which one should you get? One of the big advantages to the Road Glide ST comes from it fixed fairing design which makes for easier turning due to less sprung weight on the steering column. This also means the the fairing is pushed out further in front of you. If you are a taller rider this might be a less claustrophobic for you. The fixed fairing also has the added benefit of better aerodynamics. The downforce created by the fairing creates more downforce giving the bike great "stick" to the road.
You might consider the Street Glide ST if you really enjoy the iconic Harley-Davidson styling harkening back to the days of the Electra Glide. The front fairing also has slip stream venting allowing for more enhanced control and reduced wind buffeting and has a more centrally located control group.
