Tough call! I would pick the coco handle for a brunch/early afternoon event and the Lady Dior for a dinner event.

I have both and I agree that Coco handle is more of an elegant/ladylike style. So I only use it when I wear dresses or dress up for some events. Thank you for sharing Amy! Happy new year! 🎉🎈

I have a black patent medium Lady Dior and absdolutely love its elegance. I am a fan of Chanel bags but prefer the Lady Dior for a top handle bag.

I’m almost always team Chanel, but In this case I would pick the Dior, only because I don’t like how the corners wear on the coco.

Love both bags and the colours are amazing! I don’t have any of these bags but I think I would go for the coco handle as the flap in the Dior would bother me too much getting in and out of the bag. Love your dress too - you look gorgeous as always ! Merry Christmas 🎄

I have both, and I'm crazy about them! My lady Dior is the same color as yours and I can't stop worrying about staining the handles ... thinking of getting a twilly for them.

Funny you do this video now. I was in this exact predicament earlier this year, literally was walking between Chanel and Dior. Went with the Lady Dior because it was in the exact specs I wanted. But Coco handle still on my wishlist, just waiting for the right one to come along. Agree that if the right Coco handle is in front of you, get it because they are seasonal whereas the Lady Dior is more or less always there...

I absolutely adore and appreciate your channel! Have recently purchased a small cch in light pink (but am drooling after your light grey color - might level up if they bring it back as a seasonal color!). And I'm going tomorrow to see the mini opaline grey Lady Dior! I'm so torn about getting a Dior bag or not because everyone is anticipating similar price increases like Chanel lovers have gone through. I'm not a huge Dior fan, but like you, I appreciate the history behind House of Dior. Still debating between a mini and a small Dior bag but pros for the mini are the metallic chain and the opaline grey color which is not available in the small. I have heard the small is a better investment?? Does anyone know if seasonal colors might vary for the small LD in the future? I am also waiting for a mini classic flap with a top handle. 🥲😭

I have exactly the same Lady Dior as yours ( color and size) and it's such a beauty! Everywhere I go it gets so much attention! People just starring at it... Chanel in this style is also very cute. Unfortunately we don't have Chanel boutique in my area and I can't order one online....

Always mini first unless the combo of the coco handle is so limited and unique 🤭😂

I was 100% sure it would be the Coco Handle, then I went to try it in store, and didn’t feel it suit me. Prefer the lady dior ♥️

#TeamCocoHandle I fell madly in love with the mini (now called small) Coco Handle this year; I bought my first in February, and added two more by the Fall 😊

I’d go for coco handle as my first buy then get a lady. Both are great but coco handle is less fussy and more sturdy because of caviar leather.

In your opinion, you think the ultramatte lady dior or the lambskin lady dior looks more classy and pretty? 🙂

I’m buying the lady Dior but I was considering the coco but honestly amma stick to my Dior. I think it looks more elegant.

The coco handle will look better in 20 years too. I’d pick it over the lady as well.

I team Chanel. My goal is to get this Coco handle in black in 2021 or rather this year. lol. But now i think this is known as Small size to Chanel. They have came out in a very Mini version which i was told can't even fit a hand phone if you have one that is more than 16 to 17cm if i remember correctly. The Lady Dior in Lambskin is too delicate and the Lady Dior's closure is very fussy for me especially more so with the Mini one. Good comparison. I think it depends on the jewelry you are going to wear. The coco is easy to wear with any jewelry where the Dior bag has all of the charms and gold rings it would be limiting to coordinate if you wear a lot of jewelry. Love the square Dior shape but not a fan of all that hardware.

I always link in the description box and this one is an older season self-portrtait.

The coco handle is ugly to me and looks cheap and old lady-ish while the lady dior looks elegant classy and well made, I’ve always found chanel bags basic boring and kinda cheap looking except the boyfriend bag and the medium classic flap, I don’t know why they hold more value than the dior bags, I’d prefer a lady dior over a chanel bag anyday despite not holding its value, the way it’s made it’s timeless and would never go out of style

The elegant iconic Lady Dior in a larger size has no issues for me and any tiny bag really have problems with the opening. Tiny bag, tiny opening.

Lady Dior because it is for any age, young and older.. i feel like Chanel Coco handle design is for older market.

If you KellyGirl u gonna choose CocoHandle cos the shape the same very feminim. If ure BirkinGirl u gonna love LadyDior cos it's Bulky Masculine shape. LadyDior better wellmade compare to CocoHandle. I think Chanel should upgrade their CocoHandle and make it better wellmade bag and turn it into Classic pieces. Cos we need Chanel Top Handle.
