I bet that massive skeleton you think that is from mythology is called Bakunawa.

It should be noted that while the skull doesn't match up to Skull Crawlers, if it did, it being a Skull Crawler would make sense weirdly enough. We already have seen supersized Skull Crawlers before, with the one Mecha Godzilla fought and unalived making Ramarak look puny in comparison by virtue of how much smaller Kong was back then. It's not too unreasonable to assume they straight up might not have a limit to their growth, as long as they have enough food.

Actually there were probably a few of those, but because of their massive size, they died because of not enough radiation. Not long after they were big, They were extinct

This is the closest we are ever gonna get to a God of War movie with a dead Jormungandr being used as a bridge.

It honestly pissed me off when I saw it in the theater. It's like the director's urge to recreate Ice Age 3's cave scene was so strong that he forgot Kong is not human sized and that such a stupidly large skeleton would make the actual new bigger-than-godzilla foe look like a tiny baby.
