I don’t think you get it, that’s what Joker wants. That’s the thing. Giving into your inner rage and losing sight of who you are as a hero is what he wants. If Spider-man loses it against Joker, he loses the moral battle. Joker doesn’t care about his health or his life.

The problem is unlike in DC where Joker mostly work in Gotham thus having Batman's protection because no other heroes would trespass into Batman's territory, we don't have that kind of rule in Marvel, heroes don't have fixed territory they work in and most would often run into each others Joker could took a wrong turn and run into Frank Castle, or Moon Knight and boom he's dead.

Joker's philosophy of it only taking one bad day to make somebody lose their mind crumbles in the face of Spider-Man's entire life. He's suffered more than should be possible. Not really, you don't understand what "it takes one bad day" truly means, it doesn't mean it's impossible to have more than one bad day to go insane, but it means there's one single day that if it happens, it will make the person snap and the truth is spiderman almost turned into vigilante once aunt may was harmed by kingpin, so joker's philosophy isn't far fetched if that one bad day was where spiderman's loved ones gets killed by some criminal, his morals will change drastically However it still might not be as bad as injustice superman, can't see spiderman overthrowing the government and bringing enforcement and order as dictator, not with his powers and the fact many heroes are more powerful than spiderman

Unfortunately, both are in New York. Where the Punisher usually operates. It would be a fun one-shot where the Joker tries to play the Punisher, tries to push him, to break him, only to see just how broken Castle already is. Like, there's nowhere left to push him, he's absolutely gone, no hope, no higher plan, nothing. Like, you can't even taunt him with the futility of his personal war or his own nature. Like if you were to make Castle answer "What would you do if there suddenly will be no criminals left in the world?" his answer would be something like "If I'm around to see that, then there's at least one left."

​​@@jimberry5318 he said it's a cross over, marvel and DC did some cross over stories in which the two universes collided/united, there is also a series by Amalgam comics (I am not sure I writes it right but you can easily check), that is created by Marvel and DC in I don't remember what way, that had the heroes and villains fuse together, in those comics Batman and Wolverine are fused together I can leave you imagine the beauty of that 🤩

One of the reasons he was able to wield Mjolnir (before the definition of worthy was retconned a bit) but Spider-Man wasn’t is that being willing to take a life is one of the criteria for being worthy of Mjolnir. He’s against people like Frank Castle who go around killing people willy nilly when bringing them to Justice is an option but he doesn’t have a problem with people like Thor, Ironman, Wolverine, etc all who have killed and will definitely kill again if needed. If the joker tried to pull off some of the same nonsense that he’s done to Batman on Cap he’s going to die.

Frank Castle operates way different from Cap, Thor or Wolverine. Yes they don’t mind killing a villain beyond redemption, however, Cap, Ironman, Thor and Wolverine have showed mercy multiple times and always try to put the criminal behind the bars to face justice as the first option and if that doesn’t really help then they’re dead next time they meet. Frank’s first option is kill first then ask questions later, he completely lost all faith in justice system so he doesn’t even bother himself putting them behind the bars, just remove them and move on. The reason that other heroes don’t like Frank is because he doesn’t mind harming couple civilians on his way to get his target and that’s something Cap, Wolverine and others are not willing to do, at least not so casually

In all seriousness, Joker would probably go for Hulk, no one else is fun or anything so he would probably get the most fun out of making Hulk rampage, he does everything for fun, he screws with characters cause he finds it funny, so making Hulk rampage around ticks the "funny" box, but in all seriousness, Joker would die in the Marvel Universe, most characters kill, and the ones who don't have friends who do and would 100% kill Joker for them, the only reason Joker is still alive is because nearly every DC character has a no kill rule and won't kill the guy for Batman

That’s something I never understood. People always say dc is darker and marvel is more upbeat but some of the darkest stories I’ve seen are marvel stories. As well as the fact that nearly every hero in marvel has killed on at least one occasion

Well spiderman doesn't have a no kill rule he just has a lot of patience so if the joker tries to hurt someone he cares about or if spiderman is in a bad mood such as when his aunt was going to die then spiderman will blow a hole through joker's chest.

Daredevil would tell Frank that Joker is Free Game. And that's the end of Joker.

I do wonder if some of these folks know how much of a menace joker can be if he wanted to be. He’s not just some insane guy without powers. In most renditions he’s an absolute genius and always one step ahead. I don’t think he would die that quickly to the rest of the cast.

Crazy how they still don't have a blindness cure and if they did it will be replaced with a worse blindness like "i'm ok now" "you have gamma blindness now'

Given how sadistic the writers of Spiderman stories are, I think I just don't want to know what the Joker would do to him should they ever meet

A series of short stories or even one off panels of The Joker trying various ways to torture Peter mentally. And him just shrugging it off and giving dates of when he was in this exact situation but worse in every way. I want the joker to go from frustration at this kid to becoming progressively worried for him and how in the hell is he even sane.

I’m remembering the Comedian’s take on the American Dream in Watchmen. I imagine the Joker making it his mission showing Captain America his “American Dream”

Batman’s first dark story was Detective Comics issue #27 which came out in 1939. That was decades before Daredevil was even an idea

How people see Batman, written by Frank Miller who first made Daredevil that dark. Frank Miller was obviously inspired by writing and working if Daredevil and brought that same grittiness to Batman. And that Batman Frank Miller portrayed became of of the most popular versions of him.

@@gabrifreire1120 I know who and what Moonknight is. He's not Batman, not outside of a general outline of his skills and the tools he uses to fight crime anyway. He'd probably torture Joker before killing him, make him feel real fear instead of whatever it is that he feels for Batman. Mutilation and murder are nothing new to Moonknight, and he's not afraid to die or get seriously hurt if it helps him win the fight because he knows Khonshu will bring him back.

Spider-Man ain't got a no kill rule he's just merciful.

This dude would probably find the cure to blindness just to see everyone he loves gets killed for the fun of it

If Slade Wilson was in Marvel he'd probably wanna fight Deadpool or Captain America. I say Captain America because he's somewhat similar to batman when it comes to leading, fighting and strategising. Also Slade is fast and strong from the lazerus pit so they should be close in terms of strength.

He'd obsess over Daredevil for a week max until the Punisher realizes The Joker is well, The Joker, and kills him right away

Joker: "what will you do blind man you don't kill." Daredevil: "oh i don't but he does." Frank castle aka the punisher: " `loads glock` god may forgove your sins but my glock doesn't."

Reminder than in a cross over, Punisher literally had joker shitting bricks because of how willing he was to kill him.

I think it would be a pretty cool one shot to see Joker push Spidey thinking he was a good target, only to get humbled and humiliated by the spidey sense as well as probably come closer to death then he's been even with Batman if he finally gets under his skin. I could imagine him complaining that spidey cheated, only to find out he's in a universe where rizing above anything is common place, and hope is always there and want to go back to his own world and stay in Arkham for good
