Valentina Grillini the fact that no one is commenting about Jessica being the She’s the perfect young representation of Tanya. Because her and Christine Baranski (older Tanya) have the strongest voices in the movie and it’s because they’re Broadway actresses

before watching this film I did not know Lily James. And now after I have watched it im obsessed with her!

I think somehow, Cher being a singer in real life, it didn't fit in with the others! With the others being very capable of singing but not being singers for real it comes across as more genuine when they suddenly burst out into the song. Does that make sense? In cher's songs there was also a lot of autotune used.

No one deny that Cher is iconic singer. We all know that. I just felt like her voice didn't fit to ABBA songs. I don't know why but i agree with the author of the comment that she and especcially her voice didn't suit for the movie.

I literally cried when I found out the Meryl Streep didn’t have more than 5 mins on the screen....Meryl is my hero especially when she played Maranda Priestly!!

I’m gonna say who’s my first and second and third of my favourite characters I love : Lily James,Amanda,Merl Streep.

I just went to watch the movie for the first time and my god its amazing!

The best scene is either When I Kissed The Teacher in Oxford University or Dancing Queen when everyone is arriving for the reopening party. (Especially because Sophie and Sky reunite)

Lilly was the best singer. Young Harry (sorry cant remembe the actors name) was just terrible and I'll never understand why he was cast. Pierce Brosnan wasnt that great either. There's a video on youtube somewhere, sorry dont have a link, explaining that when they were making the movie all the cast singing was pre-recorded except Lilly when she's singing Mamma Mia. That just prooves to me that they thought she was the best.

Well, almost all movie soundtracks are pre recorded, the music people just happened to like Lily’s live singing for that song more. Also, Broadway people like Jessica Keenan Wynn sing live 8 times a week when they do a show and do amazing all the time.
