The OG dragon is awesome and still holds his own nowadays, but LEGO has perfected their parts and design so much that the current one is miles ahead. The 4+ one isn't too bad too!

While the Legacy dragon is clearly superior, I do have to say that the ball shooter on the original sounds really fun and cool to me, so it definitely gets some props from me for that. (Well, from what was shown anyway, no idea if it's as fun to use in real life as it looks here.)

You have to put a lot of force into squeezing it, but it works pretty well. Assuming it's anything like my original Golden Dragon anyway.

the blade tail on the legacy actually has some imagination like if there are bad guys instead of burning them you can cut the villains in half BRUTAL

Wait, we got an ugly 4+ version first, and then an amazing version a year later. I wonder if this will be the case with the electromech???🤔

Kai’s Fire Dragon, Jay’s Storm Fighter, and Kai’s Blade Cycle all got an original, a Legacy, and a Legacy 4+ so I wouldn’t be surprised if the same was done with Jay’s Electromech.

There are so many possibilities for other sets in the size of Zane's Titan Mech. It would be just a wasted potential if they do Jay's electomech.

We all know the juniors one is too good, it is obviously the best out of all 3

I feel that the original Fire Dragon might be more accurate, but the new one looks way better.

The newest one looks amazing, but I can't get over how good the O.G. one looks. The build aged quite well in my opinion.

All these dragons have a beautiful look and appeal! I'm so happy Flame got this treatment and I hope all the Ninja dragons get this(at least for the normal Legacy line not just 4+).

I only have the new one. It is cool, but the lack of ankle articulation, stiff forearms, and inability to stand on back legs with wings raised is a drawback.

Personal bias, but I think the new one is the best. I'll have you know, I gave him crystal wings from the Crystal King set, and I used the arms from the Crystal King set too. It was cool

Yea that the best head piece they need to make legacy versions of Wisp, shard and rocky

Personally the 2011 Dragons are the best Dragon Sets when it comes to the original 4 Dragons, it may be because of the use of Bionicle parts but they just are more appealing as they seem more like an original design, optimally Ninjago at its best should make me think of old art from the Muromachi to the Meiji Period of Japan. But when it comes to collecting the Legacy Dragon certaily is one I am thinking of getting as it gives more Avatar vibes and also is cheaper than trying to hunt down the original 4, those will be hard to find and ones I will be hunting for still though.

The old one is very nostalgic and still a personal favorite but lego did it justice with the anniversary set

I like 2011 and 2021 very much. This old one have this classic style but New one has beautiful wings Btw 2020 and 2021 looks like that memes Like you vs a guy she tells you not to worry about or like these 2 dogs

The big legacy one could easily be modified to be a mech if you want that

i’m a fan of the old lego Ninjago dragons and the heads are really cool as well

Shan’t to now why the legacy 4+ dragon is the worst. An hour ago I was at my local Walmart and their was hundreds of this set jut piled up on a stand (and I’m not exaggerating)

I'm thinking about buying the new big one. The only thing I don't really like are the feet of the new dragon, they're a bit too big in my opinion (especially the heels). Also I find a bit weird that the back of the torso (taille) is so thin, that makes the hips look extremely wide and the legs a bit too muscular. But besides that it looks very cool.

Where do you keep your mick wile recording the dragon mouth opening is so loud mine is sound so quiet

i have realized that the legacy fire dragon is the dragon in the Ninjago Legacy short Golden Legend and it you watch it again and look at the built you can see all the similarities

Not really. It’s only a comparison from the Ninjago Fire Dragons.

The new one is absolutely amazing so I can’t lie that it’s the best as it is.

This original destroys both of the other dragons. It look like it’s from the show and it doesn’t look like Taruk Makto from the avatar line of sets.

They are technically not dragons their wyverns because dragons have fore legs and wings while wyverns have 2 legs and 2 arm/wings

The new one looks great but I prefer the older one because the new one looks to skinny in my opinion.

Anyone of you guys that has the set, and hates the fact that it has no KNEES OR ANKLES, use the legacy overlord dragon,s leg design for the ankles and that should solve it! I did this and my dragon is wayyy better, just figured I’d share with the community

This does just make me think, does anybody know why Lego seems unwilling or unable to produce the ball joint pieces in any colors other than gray? I don't get what the limiting factor is

There are different colors for those ball joints: red, white, black, grey

the 1st legacy dragon is a baby legacy dragon

For once I like the legacy more than the original the 4+ isn't aaalll that bad but it's still pretty bad

Original is the best one!!

the new legacy dragon is really good except its head is to small and I hate the end of the tail, it looks very lazy and very unnatural compared tot he rest of the dragon. But other than that it looks great.
