I own the Mafex Batman and the McFarlane Knightfall. I have to say that I like the both equally. Mafex has more accessories and is a bit more posable, but that Knighfall Batman represents the comic book character that I grew up with in 50 years of reading comic books. That IS Batman to me. I've drawn Batman professionally for DC Licensing, and I've been reading his comics since '74. That figure's my jam.

I got all of those. My fave the Mafex. Put him next to Mafex Nightwing and some hand ninjas and you're in for some bad ass action poses.

Thanks for the kind words. I've been collecting for a long time, so if it didn't still bring me joy I'd move on. Only time I complain is usually about price points and value. And even then I try and be fair. I appreciate the sub.

I love this video, would love to see more with different characters in the future. I love the accessories of the Mezco, but the body style isn't necessarily my cup of tea. That magnetic release is so cool though. I have the Black/Gray Mafex Hush Batman, with the Blue on preorder and love dynamic posing you can do with the cape. I really love that Knightfall Batman frkm Mcfarlane though, its such a fun simple figure. I actually really like the Blue and Gray Mcfarlane Hush Batman even though he's so hulking that I mostly keep him in a static standing neutral pose.

My dream is for Mezco to do Alex Ross figures. Both marvel and dc. I feel like the 1/12 cloth foods style would be perfect. Give them photo realistic heads like the artwork. I feel like most Alex Ross figures are kinda hurt by articulation cuts. But cloth goods would leave the articulation and make them 100 percent like the art.

What Comic Batman figure do you have that you could recommend me?

McFarlane gives me quality sick looking figs once a month. Mafex makes you wait a year. My Mafex Hush Superman and the Black and Grey Bats version of the one you got are sick. BUT, the new mcfarlane mullet supes and krypto figure and the hush bats are too crazy.

These happen to be three out of the only four Batman figures I have. I kind of lean toward the Mezco one because it’s a great combination between classic and original style, plus the best accessories by far.

It's the Mafex all the way for me, the black one specifically. It's the closest to my mind's eye of how Batman should look, black and grey suit, yellow belt with pouches is my favorite look for Batman, Alex Ross' take on the character anyway. That Mezco Batman looks so freaking goofy, looks like a dude in bad cosplay lol.

The Mezco comic characters are always stumpy with bigger heads. It's weird.

Cool comparison. I got 2 out of the 3 but for my type of collecting and space the Mcfarlane is the one I prefer. Accessories are great, but 90% of the time they stay in a bin. The Mafex when posed is cool but it takes more space that I will like, plus the price kills me.

Never was a huge fan of mafex ones I got hush supes and it’s not great I love the detail in the mezco just worry about spending that much and messing it up. The nightfall one I just can’t get over the damn plastic capes. So for me it’s mezco hands down. I def need that bats which one is that again???

Mezco is the best if you're not looking for a comic specific Batman... I'm drooling over the mezco Robert Pattinson batman, I wish they would get it released already

I mainy collect SHF, Mezco and Mafex before but when McFarlane came around I started selling most of them lol. Because McFarlane sculpts are pretty good, it has a decent articulation and you can play with it without worry cos it's not fragile. It's the cheapest too and very easy to customize.. Lastly they are very quick to release a wave of figures.

Getting the Mcfarlane and MAFEX soon, do you know if there’s a lot of glue attached to the back of that Knightfall Batman? How hard would it be to install a cloth wired cape?

Easy! I have one with a cloth cape. About 5 mins or less with a blow dryer.

This here is a great video, 10 out of 10!!! Nightfall Batman looks the Best, but god damn that Mezco has something about. I own the MAFEX Hush Batman and he's over hyped for the price and I love Jim Lee Art.

I'm a Mcfarlane guy yeah its cool to get the wired capes and all the accessories with the others but mcfarlane figs are on a budget and thats what I like the most if I spend real big money on figs it's the Neca 1/4 scale figs.

Firstly, dam, that magnetic emblem feature is slick as hell. 2ndly, I'd pick McFarlane mainly cause it's a well done rendition of the Batman I grew up with.

i like a burly brawler batman. he just looks weird when he's lean. my fave batman figure is the mezco gaslight batman. especially with the accessory pack. it just looks amazing next to everything and it's the most versatile for collection displays.

Mezco Punisher looks perfect

I have all 3, I like em all. Blue & Grey Batman is the best! What’s great is each one gives you something to appreciate. Some are cheap, some are expensive.. all are damn cool. No need to choose a fave for me. I will say that my girlfriend likes me because I give her plenty of “hands up the wahzoo”. 😎

Mafex wins this. I like the classic Hush Batman attire. The body sculpt looks really nice, the colors look perfect, and it’s not as clunky as Mezco. I agree with Mafex’s legs being a little too thin. Just buff the legs, then it would be perfect. I’m a Mezco fan and I love some of their figures, but Mezco Supreme Batman looks terrible. This is not Sovereign Knight, this is Supreme Knight version, btw. Yeah, it has nice accessories, but that’s all it can offer. The overall figure just looks really goofy and too clunky for me. He looks fat and stumpy with f$&ked up Hulk feet. Lmao. Head sculpts are ugly. I just couldn’t even spend a penny for it. It looks awful. I’m sorry for being so blunt. I can’t stand all the praises for it, it just looks like glorified garbage. Sovereign Batman looks way better proportionally, imo. In my opinion, Mezco should definitely work on making a Hush Batman! I’d preorder that DAY ONE! If they use Sovereign Knight body ( not this Frank Miller pancake version in your video, that one is Supreme Knight, fyi) for Hush Batman, I’ll be super happy! McFarlane Knightfall Batman is neat, but I prefer the cell shaded one like the one you have, but it’s too overpriced for my blood. So Mafex Hush Batman wins this easily. He looks nice, his cape is wired, he has lots of accessories and has unmasked Bruce Wayne head. Nicely sculpted body with smooth looking joints. It’s unbeatable for now. Again, I believe Mezco One:12 Hush Batman would have this beat!

I’ve had a lot of mafex and had this Batman. Something was off with him and sold him. Had sovereign knight mezco batman and enjoyed him for bit but just wasn’t comic Batman to me and didn’t like the teeth on some heads. Sold him too. I have a few mcfarlane Batman’s and don’t see myself ever selling them unless he goes pinless and makes the same ones over

I have multiple batman figures from mcfarlane and mezco and dkr from mafex. They all have good and bad things about them. Mezco i stopped buying anything with the pleather material. I had a few figures pleather deteriorate over time.

Sorry for offending anyone with my comment, but I feel Mafex never finish to fullfill 100% my needs. Hush Batman sometimes feels like his head is too big, and somehow also doesn't feel like Jim Lee's Batman

I have the both the McFarlane and Mafex hush Batman’s (black version) The McFarlane one is way better, the body on the Mafex Batman looks weird and he looks like he wears a thong😂 the Mafex one is also 6-7 times more expensive. But if y’all have to choose between the Mafex or Mezco definitely get the Mezco one
