I've had the 880 for a month now. I love it, and that is after wearing the Brooks Adrenaline with the middle of the road cushioning. I had Hoka Ones before, but I needed a change from the extreme cushion. I went about 6 months with less cushioning and my knees were starting to hurt, so I switched to the 880s. They are exactly what I needed at the time, cushioning right in between the normal and extreme cushion. I think I will try the 1080s for my long runs.

My first new balance shoe is the old 1080 line and I loved it, almost everyday shoe for 2 years, I even played it a few times on the basketball court, it was wrong hehe, now it is bottomed out flat, it was used and abused. Now the 1080v13 is absolutely insane I love this more than the old 1080. I tried the 880 and it is too firm for me also. Thanks for the videos, keep making em.

It always depends on what you prefer, however the 1080v13 is probably the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn in my life

I love the 1080 line

880s are my go to for distance running, I've been wearing them for 2 years and they've been great through 400+ miles per pair.

I bought both the 880v12 and 1080v11 with the intention of using them as all day shoes. I preferred the extra firmness in the 880s. I like the soft cushion of the 1080. But perhaps it's a little too soft. After a few hours, my feet would sometimes start feeling fatigued and then I'd experience some pain in my plantar fascia. That wasn't really a problem in the 880s. Please keep in mind that I'm a middle-aged man with some foot wear and tear. Your experience can be different.

THE 1080v13 outsole dont cut it in a longterm review i saw on youtube, which is a shame as the v12s held up

880 felt a bit “blocky” and structured (heavier fabric) to me, so I went with the 1080’s. They felt the most natural on foot for me (average foot). Their comfort was also on another level, conveniently for me!

I got the Fresh Foam 680 V8 pretty comfortable shoe.

the 1080 v12 gave me major ankle rub. how does it compare to the v13?

I have the 1080 v11, but I want to grab another comfortable walking shoe for the future. Can anyone tell me if the v13 or v14 are an upgrade, in terms of comfort?

What’s the most comfortable nike low top sneaker?

The 860 is even more firmer than the 880's. Im guessing NB have done some sort of 3 type range with the Fresh Foam x technology. Softest (1080) slightly firmer (880) and even firmer (860) i have the 860 v13 and they are very comfortable with great support in the ankles. Which is what I need.

I have excessive supination and use orthotics. Which NB shoe would give the best OUTIDE support.

Wish new balance would bring back the triple white trainers. Last all white were the 1080 v11.

I had similar pain and what finally worked for me were proper arch support inserts. Now I can wear almost any brand and model pain free as long as I can pull out the manufacturer insole and put in my arch supports. Good luck, the pain form planter fasciatis is unbearable

880s are way better then the 1080s. Going to buy my second pair soon in that colorway. I grabbed the black ones first

Thanks for the review. 1080v13 is softer than I prefer, so I was really wondering if 880v14 had similar underfoot feel as 1080v12. If you had to pick one, would it be 880v14 or 1080v12? Thanks in advance!

Tried them both, thought 1080 are too soft for running, 880 is a lot better but also they are softer than their own older version so for me the perfect “in the middle” for softness as the older 880s were a bit too hard. Now they are perfect;)

880s are a little less squishy than the 1080s.

880 might have better support which I would like.

i don't know..i have the 1080v12 and i tried the 1080v13..they were not that soft compared to the nimbus 25..am still looking for the best max cushion shoes..p

I agree, i have the v11 and i thought they were quite firm. I tried the v13, theyre softer but i was still expecting alot more from freshfoam x.

There's literally no volume in the forefoot of the 1080's. The upper is pressing down on your toes with significant pressure. Uncomfortable and very annoying. Shame as they look amazing.

I agree. No room in the forefoot + very unstable midsole with any lateral movement = a quick pass on the 1080.

Yeah I just wore my pair to a county fair and my heel was hurting a bit because of the instability of the heel. I picked the shoe up over the nimbus 25 because of the aesthetic appeal of it. I just ordered the nimbus 25 for the functional usage I’m looking for. Which is a shame because I really like the look of the 1080’s miles better than the nimbus 25.

1080v13 is the GOAT.

I would love a pair of these because of the comfort but they look like dad shoes

I feel like the latest 1080 v13 is what Fresh Foam was meant to be when it came out 10 years ago!

Personally I’ve found the fuelcell the most comfortable trainer

1080v13 just go for it,got last week absolutely lop them 💚💚

1080 v13 is on another level for me , it s way better than nimbus 25 and 26 and they also look like a normal shoe . Later update : Sold the 1080 v13 after i tried the Nike Vomero 17 , they are more versatile and better all around plus they look much better on feet and i can wear them as casual shoes which is an important aspect for me .

I have the all black version of the 1080 v13 and indeed is the best shoes I've ever worn, even better than the nimbus 25

@@GabrielLima-uf8im Did you try the Vomero 17 ? Sold the 1080v13 for those Vomeros , they are way more versatile and comfier than those 1080 v13 . Try them .

Margom soled shoes are the "most comfortable" because soft, squishy, marshmallow shoes are violence against your anatomy.

1080v13 is not for casual use, if you'll buy it just for casual walks, it will make you dizzy & out of balance at times. It is best for running with comfort. 880 v14 still I need to try.

I think 1080 V13 is not good. The midsole is too soft and the stability is too poor.

Neither. 840v1 or the Arishi v4. The v13 is mushy and unstable. The 880 has 8 mm of drop and I dont want it. Id rather get a Vongo than either of those. Vongo is a mild stability version of the 1080 with a better more plush upper and a second layer of denser foam so it's not mushy like the new 1080. They ruined the 1080, but they will never fix it because it's selling like hot cakes.

Based on the looks of these midsoles, the title could be "Which Is MOST UGLY?"
