Cool video but you lost me when you gave stages to Street fighter 😂. Don't get me wrong SF stages are cool and good looking but that is it. They are good looking while Tekken not only is it good looking you can interact with it and even destroy it. Oh and the graphical difference is huge and not slight like how you guys were saying. I get that SF is your main fighting game but c'mon the graphics in Tekken is far better than SF, from the details to the animations to lightning Tekken outperform SF on every way.

Street fighter might have a smaller starting roster. But at least every single character has a unique fighting style. Many Tekken characters fight very similar

And tekken only has 3 new characters sf6 half of the roster are Brand new characters

Community has never been so happy about a singular fighting game getting released like they have with tekken 8. Street fighter VI is lovely all in all but tekken got everything right on release (95% give or take 5 percent.) tekken has got to be the best thing released in the last 5-10 years.

I choose both. And they're both better than Mortal Kombat 1. Heck, both Street Fighter and Tekken are better than Mortal Kombat overall.

Street Fighter IV

One thing I will say about the story conversation, is I feel like the actual gameplay of World Tour is underplayed. World Tour is incredibly fun, I would argue the gameplay experience is better and more replayable (end game content and side missions). And if you include the arcade modes, Tekken 8 arcade endings lack a lot of personality compared previous entries, with no real sense of character progression

Tekken 8 arcade is way better than street fighter 6 World tour world tour gets really boring unlike arcade

This video made me realize how much better tekken 8 actually is

The fact that Tekken has double the characters and every character had over double the moves of any street fighter character says it all for me. SF devs are slacking on how much combat these characters could have and it limits you to fight a certain way to be great. Tekken allows you to find your OWN WAY to be great with a character. Even if you tried to find your own way on SF, your skills and moves would come out like most top players who use your character.

The reason Tekken launches with so many characters and moves is be because they use a lot form the previous games. A new SF game is built from the ground up so they have a smaller roster. But even ignoring that I don’t think a big roster is automatically a good thing. I’d say it’s one of the more annoying aspects of playing Tekken when you run into one of the 5-10 hardly used characters and you have no idea what’s going on

They forgot to mention that Tekken 8 has jukebox on all platforms though pass Tekken games that Street Fighter 6 doesn’t have.

@@1stJBGaming No no no no no. The correct answer is Street Fighter 6 is the one and only real winner here. Tekken 8 takes the L because it has "lost" its identity with all the heat, nonsense 2D mechanics in a 3D fighting game. In conclusion, Tekken 8 takes the L again.
