Keyboard or piano is more suitable for beginners and to understand the theory so well and to teach students how grahabedham and different 12 transposition techniques to suit a singers vocal range. and so on... i started from piano and later moved on to guitar (electric) to play the dhasavidha gamakams... to teach my own daughter i was easy and efforless to teach music theory with a keyboard... with a guitar it is very very difficult for kids///. i agree with your point...

Hi Vishal bro.. I think you got me wrong. I strongly suggested if the kid is liking to learn guitar please go ahead. Theory is same for everything. But when they feel its very tough then they can choose keyboard over guitar because it is easier to press and get the sound. They don't have to put so much effort and get hurt. When they are interested in learning guitar on their own they won't mind the pain. Interest will over power the pain.
