ive seen videos of people in NYC standing and even walking on top of moving trains. Its definitely possible

Yes, it is possible, many South Americans usually get on the trains to get to the United States. It amazes me how GTA IV fanboys desperately try to justify the game's mistakes.

I hope the water in GTA 6 can take the fire out

In fact in TBOGT there is a scene in which Luis is on top of the train, but he is not standing but crouching. Also in a mission where Niko is lying on top of a small truck, Niko even tries to hold on so as not to fall due to the car's maneuvers. So you're right, it's not easy to be up there and even worse to stay as if nothing had happened.

theres videos of teenagers standing on top of trains in New York City, so its definitely possible. And I do not think they were professionals because one of them got killed trying to do so
