The solar charging on the fenix series for example is a marketing gimmick. It does not improve battery life in any significant way. I am being outside roughly 4-5 hours everyday in sunny conditions. It's solar panel is just too small to have any significant impact.

I had the venu 3 and 👌🥇 but i prefer the forerunner 965 for de GPS an the buttons

Nice and a great watch. I've just ordered the epix pro gen 2 on sale, so looking to see how that compares.

And the 165 doesn’t have gyroscope, if u compare the 165 to the Vivo active 5 which one do u think is better for gym and casual running?

Casual running they both will have you covered, it's a hard choice.... If you're not into competitive running and it's for general fitness then I would go with the one you prefer the look of. On the Garmin website there is also a comparison option if you really want to see exactly what features you will miss out on to make your choice a little easier.

Great video, still confused. Which do you recommend for gym (treadmill,stairmaster, good heart rate reading) and hiking outdoors? Thx

Should i buy the inctinct 2 or should i wait for the 3. since i can get the 2 for 200. and would the huwei watch gt 4 be beter i want alot of data

Good question, as it's been awhile now since the instinct 2 launched so a new one has to be around the corner and you can pick one up for a great price. But I have no insider information. The gt4 is a nice watch, but I personally prefer the eco system of Garmin .

I just got Garmin 55. Super disappointed it’s so dark. Hard to see

Is Vivo active 5 suitable for gym? Even tho it doesn’t have barometer?

Vivo active 5 is still good for the gym if you are not in need of elevation change tracking and focus on mainly treadmill runs. Other wise the 165 may be a better choice for that., but they will still do both do the basics of multi sport tracking for basic gym needs at this price point. Otherwise I would recommend the Venu 3 for the larger screen to work with..
