Jasmine is so freakin' cute!! Her laugh and reaction to Berry eating the pizza. Gahh I love her 😭❤️

To be fair to the Daiya pizzas, the new formula and crust is better than what they had before. They are also some of the most accessible frozen vegan pizzas, so I'll take them for now. Also, it's super allergen friendly to a lot of people.

Agreed! I got Daiya's meat(less) supreme the other day and I was pleasantly surprised how much better it tasted than I remembered. I didn't realize until after I started eating it they changed their formula. The cheese melted well on mine, and the toppings were great. Plus Daiya really is just so accessible.

Amy's no cheese veggie pizza with chao cheese melted onto it is the absolute bomb and tastes like real non-vegan pizza i swear!

Oh yum! A pizza test! I’ve never seen “blackbird” in stores, but I really like the Amy’s ones. Still the best pizza is homemade, or using the pizza dough from Trader Joe’s 😋

Hey Jasmine and Chris! Unrelated, but I just got to listening to Chris' band's newest EP, and it's so damn good. Idk if Chris reads the comments, but you and your band are doing some really cool stuff!

I bought the daiya once years ago.... 😝 never again. I usually make my own. It’s super simple. I laughed so hard when Chris said repulsive.. omg... Such a strong word. American Flatbread Harvest is my go to. I add broccoli and beyond sausage and fold the pizza in half like a big old taco and press it down once It comes out of the oven and the cheese gets nice and melty. Yum.

I have Amy's vegan margherita in my freezer which I'm excited to try. I love their roasted veg one! Is the Blackbird pizza regional/in your state? I hadn't heard of it and didn't notice it in stores near me

I hope I can find the Blackbird and the Amy’s; I only ever see Daiya. And I’d love to find thick crust!

The Amy's cheeseless Pizza is the roasted vegetable one. The roasted vegetable pizza we used to have a Trader Joe's I'm pretty sure was made by her. It's a shame we still don't carry it, and I have a hard time finding hers as well.

I've had Blackbird pizza in Philly and they have some really awesome flavors! I'm not vegan and neither are most of my friends but we liked it!

I loved eating at Blackbird when I was in Philly! I had no idea they had a frozen pizza!

Just in case anyone is unaware, Sweet Earth is owned by Nestle. Definitely recommend buying from a different brand.

I have to say, I really enjoy Tom and his humor when he joins your episodes. He definitely adds a different element to it and it brings a few laugh out loud aspect to it all. Which is a good thing. Also, side note...I either have Daiya or SweetEarth pizzas as my only choices in my small town. I choose the SweetEarth vegan pizza but I have to tweek it alittle bit. Here's a tip..only put it in for 14-15 mins, but prior to putting it in the oven, I add a few more cheese shreds to it and, I melt some plant based butter(country crock) and add some garlic and chives or vegan paramsan cheese to the melted butter and then I drizzle it over the pizza and I brush it on the edges where the crust would be considered. Then when I take it out, I rebrush the "crust" and then sprinkle it with some nooch and that makes it pretty good after that.. and it's not so crunchy either. 😉👍

The Sweet Earth Pizza is good. I don't remember the crust being crunchy( maybe overcooked?). Looks like it also has less veggies than before so maybe they changed the 🍕

American Flatbread actually does have another vegan flavor - the Farmers' Tomato Pie! It's pretty good!

unpopular opinion but i rly like the daiya supreme pizza... and i rly like that american flatbread one too!! it’s a good snack and in my experience it melts a lot!

20th St is even better!! Owned by the same guy, different (better) dough recipe, more local and organic ingredients. And they just switched to a local mozz instead of violife!! ❤️

I love the American Flatbread vegan pizza! Especially after a night out at the bars it’s the PERFECT late night snack haha

Just started watching the video. I grew up in Philly and can say i grew up eating floppy thin pizza (definitely did the fold) and Sicilian pizza. Definitely loved that thick crust. What city do y’all live in and are you from? I live in Minneapolis now and have seen several of these at my co-op. That Blackbird restaurant in Philly has amazing reviews. Edit: never mind on part of that. I saw/forgot you live in Portland and that’s what I was thinking. Curious how you like it there? I’ve been planning a move there for years (wanting a break from Midwest winters).
