Fever Tree is the only option for me. Unfortunately, most of our tonics in the US are chock-full of corn syrup... the main reason I like FT is that they don't use it. I always thought tonic was trash until I tried FT.

Here in the US, I can always find Schweppes Tonic Water and have never seen or even heard of Fever Tree. Since I normally drink my Beefeaters straight with a twist of lime or with orange juice, I haven't really looked for tonic water outside of supermarkets and am happy with what I can find.

I just started drinking gin a couple months ago and it’s changed my whole life. Actually found an alcohol that I actually enjoy drinking. Not just to get drunk. Glad I found you because I’ve discovered there’s a Fever-Tree for every gin. I didn’t like gunpowder gin until I tried it with the elderflower. Probably cuz the heavy herbal and floral notes. Tried Beefeater with the ginger ale today and was blown away. Wondering if you’ve tried the ginger beer and what you thought?

Having an Aviation Gin and Elderflower tonic right now (Fever Tree, of course). A slice of lime and it's, I guess the English would say, "absolutely brilliant!" haha. The Mediterranean and Elderflower and definitely my two "go to" tonics if I can find them and want to spend the extra $$. Never cared for their Indian tonic though. Side note, I've heard it pronounced and pronounce it myself as "q-why-nine". Then again I know pronunciation is vastly different with things on the other side of the Pond over there.

I like the vodka, water and a powder mix of the sweet lemonade with a little adult mixed in, of course add ice, for this summer. Maybe I should try the Juniper Gin. I've always used the cheapest bottle of tonic, whatever was the store brand for around 75 cents to a dollar, but I picked up my first bottle of Fever Tree to try. However, I'm curious if I'll even notice a difference, as I definitely don't have a sophisticated palate. I didn't notice any difference at all between Tanqueray 10 and regular Tanq, except T10 is a lot more expensive. I don't pick up on subtle differences, so it all tastes pretty much the same to me. The benefit of course, I can save money with cheaper gin; but I am looking to try out some other (reasonably priced) gins.

Great video again. Your the reason I drink fever tree with my gins now, it's absolutely fantastic stuff. And your absolutely right about sugar, nothing wrong with it as long as you don't go overboard, as you said everything in moderation. I will point out one thing tho, steaks are not bad for you at all, it's just everything else that tends to come with it, like chips, mash, onion rings ect. A meat based diet whilst cutting out carbs is seriously beneficial to your health. Check out Joe Rogan, Jordan and Makayla Peterson for examples 💪👍. Great video as always.

Picked up the Indian, Mediterranean and the elder-flower tonight, Really liked the Mediterranean but found the gin can overpower fast if you don't make the gin a tonic right. I used Beefeater and thought it didn't work with the elderflower at all. any recommendations on what gin might go better with it?

Lots of trash full of fructose and corn syrup in the USA (including Schweppes), so Fever Tree is one of few decent options ($5.99 for 4 tiny bottles) Recently expanding Lidl has introduced their sugar-based, French-made version (just regular tonic though) for $2.19 in the same packaging and I can’t really tell them apart. I might have to do a blind test just to confirm ;) Kind of amazing and what a huge price difference.

No Nonsense Gin Drinking So we has a bit of a blind tasting test today ;) We threw a new Trader Joe’s tonic water (with subtle lime flavor) into the mix. I liked all three but picked Lidl as my top choice. My little daughter who never had tonic before enjoyed Fever Tree a lot! My wife liked Trader Joe’s and thought Lidl was offensive and said she’d lose all her respect for you if you end up liking it like me. So those are my scientific results. I thought I wouldn’t have to buy Fever Tree anymore but now I have to for my daughter ;) I’d love to see how you rate it one day.

Bobby, please look as I don't think there is a sugar free fever tree, just a lower sugar fever tree. Try it and see; there still is a lot of carbs in it.

I do love a fever tree with my gin, but I do wish that they weren't all sugar free. The only one that isn't is the flagship tonic.

Call me crazy, but if 80% of your gin and tonic is tonic in the first place, you're doing it wrong. I always do about 50/50, don't see the point if you can barely taste the gin in there. Then you're just mostly drinking fever tree lol.

How in hell can anyone do a video on tonic water and not know how to pronounce quinine. KWAI NINE Damn! You have no credibility. Simply use Schweppes, as good as any and better than most.

No, it's pronounced ARSE HOLE. damn. How in hell can anyone comment on a video like this and be such a jerk? Let's not turn tonic water into toxic water. You're the reason the whole of the UK is boycotting social media this weekend.
